Details
Merit-CumMeans (MCM) scholarship: These scholarships are awarded from the Institute funds. The Institute shall award scholarships on the basis of merit-cum-means to all eligible students of the 4-year B.Tech.(Hons.), 5-year Dual Degree, 5-year B.Arch.(Hons.) and 5-year Integrated M.Sc. courses in accordance with the following rules:- 1. All students admitted to any of the 4-year B.Tech.(Hons.), 5-year Dual, Degree, 5-year B.Arch.(Hons.) and 5-year Integrated M.Sc. courses, except the students belonging to SC and ST (who are eligible for Post-Matric Scholarship of their respective State Governments), and the students admitted through DASA channel, who fulfil the conditions herein after appearing, shall be eligible for the award of the Merit-Cum-Means (MCM) scholarship. 2. These scholarships will be awarded to not more than 25% of the students admitted each year to the Undergraduate and Dual Degree courses. IIT Kharagpur Details
IIT Kharagpur scholarships are provided in the form of financial assistance so that deserving students can get a quality education without having to worry about the lack of funds. Students can get access to financial assistance provided by IIT Kharagpur, by the alumni, by various government and private bodies to pursue their education at IIT Kharagpur. Financial assistance is also provided for international travel for research and participating in competitions. Students can use the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur financial assistance that they get for accommodation, academics, entrepreneurship and other valid and approved causes. Educational loans and assistance for availing these educational loans are also facilitated at IIT Kharagpur. The huge alumni network at IIT Kharagpur also funds multiple scholarships each year. Special International travel assistance in the form of a grant has been instituted and gives assistance to students to travel for research, volunteer projects, competitions and conferences.
