The CareerBox app for students uses the same account and the same data as this website. On top of that, it handles the following on your phone:

• Sign-in and app lock

  Your sign-in is kept in the phone’s secure keystore. Fingerprint / face unlock is checked by your phone; we never receive biometric data.

• Push notifications

  If you allow notifications, we store a push token for your device to send class, test, fee and message alerts. Signing out removes it. You can turn notifications off any time in your phone’s settings.

• Camera, photos, files and microphone

  Used only when you choose to attach a photo, a document or a voice note (doubts, answer sheets, payment proof, messages). Files are uploaded to your classroom or conversation and are not used for anything else.

• Payments

  Online fee and test-series payments are processed by Razorpay; UPI payments open your own UPI app. We do not store card or bank details.

• Tests and exam integrity

  During a test, answers are saved on your phone until they reach our servers, screenshots are blocked, and leaving the app is counted and shared with the institute running the test.

• Install source

  On first launch the app reads the Play Store install referrer (for example, the CareerBox page that sent you) to measure our campaigns and open that page for you. It contains no personal information.

You can delete your account and its data by writing to us (see Contact Us); uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your phone.
