AIAPGETAll India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test
About AIAPGET
AIAPGET is the single national entrance test for postgraduate admission across the AYUSH systems — Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy. It has been conducted by the National Testing Agency on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH, providing a common, standardised selection route for MD/MS and PG Diploma seats in these systems.
The computer-based test presents 120 multiple-choice questions for a maximum of 480 marks over two hours, with +4 for each correct answer and -1 for each wrong answer. Candidates take the paper corresponding to their undergraduate stream, so the syllabus mirrors the relevant BAMS, BUMS, BSMS or BHMS curriculum.
AIAPGET results feed centralised AYUSH PG counselling (conducted by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee for the All India Quota) and state counselling for the remaining seats. It has consolidated what were previously fragmented AYUSH PG admissions into one national exam.
Accepted by: MD/MS and PG Diploma programmes in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy across participating AYUSH institutions in India
