Eligibility & Entrance Exams
(1) The eligibility to seek admission in Bachelor of Pharmacy (Ayurveda) shall be as under:-(a) The candidate shall have passed the intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination from any examination board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and have obtained a minimum of fifty per cent. marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination in the case of the General category and forty per cent. marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes: Provided that in respect of persons with disabilities, candidates specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be forty-five per cent. In the case of the General category, forty per cent. in the case of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and the Other Backward Classes.(b) Admission through Diploma of Pharmacy (Ayurveda) programme: Admission may be made on maximum of twenty per cent. seats out of the total number of intake capacity permitted for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Ayurveda) programme rest of the seats may be filled up by following the eligibility criteria mentioned in clause (a) of sub-regulation (1) of regulation 3.(c) No candidate shall be admitted to the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Ayurveda) degree programme unless he or she has attained the age of seventeen years on or before the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the degree programme.
