Name of scholarship Details Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students The scholarships are awarded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, on the basis of the results of the Higher Secondary / Class XII Board Examination. A maximum of Rs 82,000 fresh scholarships per annum are provided for pursuing graduate / postgraduate degrees in colleges and universities and for professional courses, such as Medical, Engineering and others 50% of the scholarships are earmarked for girls. National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST students The National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students is a Central Sector Scheme from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, India, aimed at providing financial assistance to Scheduled Tribe (ST) students for their higher education. Central Sector Scholarship for Top Class Education for SC Students The Scheme aims at recognising and promoting quality education amongst students belonging to SCs, by providing financial support. The scheme will cover SC students for pursuing studies beyond the 12th class. PM-YASASVI: Top Class College Education for OBC, EBC and DNT Students The scheme was launched by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, to provide educational assistance to the students belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), and Denotified, Nomadic Tribes (DNT). Students must meet eligibility criteria to apply for All India Institute of Medical Sciences Nagpur scholarships. PM-YASASVI: Top Class College Education for OBC, EBC and DNT Students is funded by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on a 100% basis.
