IIIT Guwahati Details
Students are offered entry-level scholarships and other scholarships who have secured merit in the said exams. Students can apply for the scholarships at IIIT Guwahati through National portal schemes. Scholarships are given to students whose parental/guardian income is less than the prescribed amount, based on the students' performance, to reach academic heights at the institute, and for the meritorious students.
IIIT Guwahati Details through National Scheme Portal
Central Schemes Amount Eligibility Criteria Institute Merit scholarships Rs 500 per month, Tuition fee waiver for two semesters. Year wise class toppers with out any break in the semesters and given from second year onwards, given for 8 months. Institute Merit cum Means Scholarships Fixed stipend of Rs 1000 p.m two semesters and tuition fee waiver for two semesters. Parents income should not exceed Rs. 4.5 Lakhs for students belonging to general category. 25% of non SC/ST students are eligible. SC-ST Scholarships Fixed stipend for eight months, the Tuition fee is waived, Hostel rent waived. Rs 250 p.m. Parents income should not exceed Rs 4.5 Lakhs. IIIT Guwahati scholarships are given to students who meet the necessary credentials as required by the management of the university/Institute.
