National Institute of Technology Silchar was established in 1967. NIT Silchar is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology of India. NIT Silchar offers multiple courses in the fields of Engineering, Science, Management, and Humanities. Aspiring candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of the desired National Institute of Technology Silchar courses . Before applying for NIT Silchar admissions the candidates should appear for appropriate entrance exams such as JEE Main /CAT/ MAT /CMAT. The MAT 2026 PBT mode registration deadline for admission to the MBA course has passed. For the PBT mode, the exam will be held on May 31, 2026 . Further, for the CBT mode, the registration window is open till Jun 8, 2026 , for the exam scheduled for Jun 14, 2026 .
The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.
