The seminar hall of NIT Arunachal Pradesh is used to host international conferences, workshops, and seminars on different topics. The convocation ceremony of fresh graduates is also held in the seminar hall. The seminar hall of NIT Arunachal Pradesh is fully air-conditioned with basic audio-visual facilities.
Boys Hostel
The university provides hostel for accommodation its male students. As the hostel is at some distance from the university premises, transportation facility is provided to students. The hostels have spacious and ventilated rooms that offer a comfortable stay to students.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh offers a café service to the students and faculty members of the university. The cafeteria serves hygienic and healthy food and beverages at affordable prices.

Due to acquit shortage of space the institute has a computer center with the following facilities: Following are the features of the computer centre present in the department: Total no. of Computers: 30 System Softwares: Licensed Microsoft Window 7 and Linux Backup Facility: 10 kva UPS Printing facilities are provided for the students. Convenience Store
A fair price shop is situated on the campus of NIT Arunachal Pradesh. The students of NIT-AP can buy essential goods like stationery and other items which they might need on a day-to-day basis from the fair price shop.
Girls Hostel
NIT Arunachal Pradesh has separate hostels for girls students. For the convenience of students, all basic facilities such as mess, reading room etc. are available at girls hostels. It offers a home like environment to students.
Guest house
A Guest House cum Convention Centre is available for Official as well as Non Official use by the NIT. It is located at Adabari, Jhalukbari, Guwahati, Assam

I.T Infrastructure
The Computer Centre of NIT Arunachal Pradesh consists of 30 computer sets updates with the latest applications and software. The computer centre also provides other facilities like high-speed internet and printing facility.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh facilities help in the holistic development of the students.The NIT Arunachal Pradesh facilities include boys' and girls' hostels for the accommodation of students. Laboratories
The Language Laboratory of NIT Arunachal Pradesh is used to develop the communication skills and other soft skills of the students to prepare them for the corporate world. Communication skills play an important role in campus recruitment and are given the utmost attention in the language laboratory of NIT Arunachal Pradesh. The NIT Arunachal Pradesh accommodates a total of 32 students.
Library
The Central Library of NIT Arunachal Pradesh consists of many e-books, journals, magazines, books, and different volumes and editions. Students, by using their library credentials, can access the various e-books and research papers and can download other study materials relating to their department. The Central Library of NIT Arunachal Pradesh was established in the year 2010 and provides reprographic and photocopy facilities.
Medical Facilities
The Medical Unit of NIT Arunachal Pradesh comprises two nurses, one doctor, and availability of ambulance facility. The doctors and nurses of the medical unit of NIT-AP are available whenever called. Basic equipment for performing surgeries is also available at the medical unit.
Seminar Hall
The Institute is having a modern Seminar Hall. Workshops of all streams are organized, providing the students an interface for practical and expertise knowledge. Apart from this, motivational and inspirational lectures of Director are held to flourish every student’s innovative ideas by discussing them. Interactive lectures from the faculty members, explore the research, principles and classroom phases by such an effective presentation strategy, are also held at here.
Sports
Sports facilities are made available to the students of NIT Arunachal Pradesh. Equipment required to play both indoor and outdoor sports can be used by the students of NIT-AP. Various sports tournaments are conducted at regular intervals at the campus.
Transport
The institute is functioning partly in a temporary campus at Yupia and partly at permanent campus at Jote. The hostels are located at distance from the institute. To transport the students from hostels to the institute and back, the institute has a transport section comparing of one bus and one ambulance of its own and other 9-buses and 7 small vehicles, hired from state transport and private operators, to transport mare than 600 students to the temporary campus at Yupia and permanent campus at Jote. Two small vehicles are used for water supply in various hostels and others are used for transportation of faculty from temporary campus at Yupia to permanent campus at Jote and also for other miscellaneous works.

SCHEME OF ‘MERIT CUM MEANS BASED SCHOLARSHIP’ FOR STUDENTS BELONGING TO THE MINORITY COMMUNITIES A total of 60,000 scholarships are targeted to be distributed as ‘Fresh’ Scholarships, besides, Renewal scholarships. The distribution of scholarship among the States/Union Territories will be made on the basis of population of minorities in the States/Union Territories as per Census 2001 for 2017-18 and as per the population of minorities in the States/Union Territories of Census 2011 for 2018-19 and 2019-20 (as per Appendices- A & B) Eligibility: Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh. Slot: 30% scholarship is earmarked for girls students of each minority community in a State/UT which is transferable to male students of that community in case of non-availability of female students in that community in the concerned State/UT. .
