NIT Mizoram Admission Process
National Institute of Technology Mizoram admissions are offered to B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. Students must meet eligibility criteria to apply for the courses. Check the details of NIT Mizoram admissions. Admissions at NIT Mizoram are offered based on performance in the entrance exam.
JEE Main and GATE are entrance exams for NIT Mizoram admissions for BTech and MTech courses, respectively. National Institute of Technology Mizoram Counselling: JoSAA counselling is conducted for BTech admissions. CSAB counselling is conducted if seats are vacant after JoSAA counselling.
CCMT counselling is conducted for MTech admission. JEE Main Session 2 result was released on April 20, 2026. CCMT 2026 registrations for MTech Admissions are expected to start in May 2026.
For NIT Mizoram B.Tech admissions, students must qualify for the JEE Main and participate in JoSAA/ CSAB counselling. Candidates must appear for JoSAA counselling to get NIT Mizoram seats. NIT Mizoram offers M.Tech admissions through a variety of channels.
Those who have passed the GATE exam can enrol in CCMT counselling and be admitted or they can sit the written test and interview at NIT Mizoram. NIT Mizoram Details
NIT Mizoram Scholarship schemes are important for students pursuing various course degrees, especially higher studies. Scholarship or financial support is needed and dependent on many students pursuing various course degrees. However, limited NIT Mizoram scholarship facilities are available for meritorious and economically poor students. Students can apply for various scholarship schemes available on the National Scholarships Portal (NSP). The Portal is a one-stop solution through which various services, starting from student application, application receipt, processing, sanction, and disbursal of various scholarships to Students, are enabled. National Scholarships Portal is a Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). Other NIT Mizoram scholarship schemes are available as per UGC/MHRD. NIT Mizoram students are highly encouraged and assisted to apply for various state and central government scholarships. In addition to the schemes on the NSP, there are specific scholarship programmes like UGC – Ishan Uday (NER) and scholarships offered by the governments of Assam, Manipur, Bihar, and others, as well as schemes provided by ONGC and Samsung, among others. After applying for a scholarship through the NSP/other portal based on their eligibility, scholarship aspirants must submit their application and required documents.
