NIT Mizoram Details
NIT Mizoram Scholarship schemes are important for students pursuing various course degrees, especially higher studies. Scholarship or financial support is needed and dependent on many students pursuing various course degrees. However, limited NIT Mizoram scholarship facilities are available for meritorious and economically poor students. Students can apply for various scholarship schemes available on the National Scholarships Portal (NSP). The Portal is a one-stop solution through which various services, starting from student application, application receipt, processing, sanction, and disbursal of various scholarships to Students, are enabled. National Scholarships Portal is a Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). Other NIT Mizoram scholarship schemes are available as per UGC/MHRD. NIT Mizoram students are highly encouraged and assisted to apply for various state and central government scholarships. In addition to the schemes on the NSP, there are specific scholarship programmes like UGC – Ishan Uday (NER) and scholarships offered by the governments of Assam, Manipur, Bihar, and others, as well as schemes provided by ONGC and Samsung, among others. After applying for a scholarship through the NSP/other portal based on their eligibility, scholarship aspirants must submit their application and required documents. NIT Mizoram scholarships provided to minority category students require criteria for eligibility, i.e., students' annual family income should not exceed Rs. 4.5 lakhs. Merit-based scholarships are based on a student's overall academic performance. Students can avail themselves of various state and central government scholarships based on the category they belong to and their academic performance in the case of general category students.
