Entrance Exams for NIT Sikkim Admissions: JEE Main for B.Tech and GATE for MTech admissions. NIT Sikkim Counselling: JoSAA counselling is conducted for BTech admissions. CSAB counselling is conducted if seats are vacant after JoSAA counselling.
CCMT counselling is conducted for MTech admission. JEE Main Session 2 results were declared on April 20, 2026. CCMT 2026 registrations for MTech Admissions are expected to start in May 2026.
Students can download the GATE 2026 scorecard till December 31, 2026. JAM 2026 first admission list will be released on May 31, 2026. NIT Sikkim admissions to B.Tech courses are through JEE Main.
For M.Tech courses, the NIT Sikkim selection process is through valid GATE scores and CCMT counselling. JAM scores are considered for NIT Sikkim M.Sc admissions. To get NIT Sikkim B.Tech admissions, candidates must register for JoSAA counselling.

NIT Sikkim B.Tech Admission Process
Candidates need to register and appear for the JEE Main conducted by NTA. Those candidates who have qualified in the entrance score and ranked under the prescribed cut-off given by the institute must take part in JoSAA /CSAB counselling and select NIT Sikkim. Selected candidates must accept the offer letters to confirm admission Submit all original documents at the NIT office within the prescribed time period and pay the NIT Sikkim admission fees.
