I would suggest that students who want the best experience in this field can opt for this college.

As this is a government dental college in Gujarat, this college is a top priority for students seeking admission, and the only reason is that it is a civil hospital of Gujarat, and students who pass out from here get first priority. This college also gives a stipend of 20,000 rupees. | The infrastru...

My experiences in GDCH

The course that I have selected for the studies I guess is a best decision as we see in our society that the people consume a large amount of tobacco and cigarette smoking and hence this further leads to the mouth disease and cancer and this is where dentist play aa major role in curing this disease...

Pros

The campus of the GDCH Ahmedabad is been undergoing renovation for the hospital side and hence other parts have been renovated so it can be concluded that the campus here is in a very good condition and the quality here is not have been compromised .
The faculties here which teaches us for our subjects are of outmost expertise and have been very punctual and time bound with the course also the faculties itself distribute students for the mentorship and provides the outmost guidance to us.

In our batch, around 72% of the students cleared the course. After completing internships, immediately we got a job in private dental clinics with a monthly salary of Rs 30,000-40,000 but some of our colleagues who live in small towns earn approximately Rs 20,000-25,000 per month. A complete review of GDCH Ahmedabad

The course is pretty much the go-to option after the bachelors degree. This college provides good patient flow with good enough guidance from the teachers to treat them. Understanding of the procedures proves to be vital in treating patients out in the real world after college.

Pros

The Stipend amount that one gets paid is good.
The Fee is minimal compared to other colleges.
The number of patients is good mainly due to reasonable prices for treatment.

Cons

Work Culture, it is one of the most hectic fields of work
Delay in stipend being credited, almost 2-3 months late every time.
Not much freedom to select & treat cases off your own (which is actually a good thing for the patients but not so much for doctors)
