Eligibility: To pursue a Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) degree at Govt. Dental College, Ahmedabad, candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria. Applicants should have completed their Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) degree from a recognized dental college or university. They must also have completed a one-year rotating internship from a recognized dental institution. Additionally, candidates need to qualify in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) MDS conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The selection process may include a counseling session based on the NEET MDS scores. Meeting these eligibility requirements is essential for aspiring students to secure admission to the M.D.S. program at Govt. Dental College, Ahmedabad.

Eligibility: The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on education;Note: Where the course content is not as prescribed for 10+2 education structure of the National Committee, the candidates will have to undergo a period of one year pre- professional training before admission to the dental colleges.orb. The intermediate examination in science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.

Eligibility: Master’s Degree holders satisfying the criteria stipulated under Clause 2 above.Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and successfully completing the M.Phil. Degree shall be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the Ph. D. Degree in the same Institution in an integrated programme. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.A person whose M.Phil. dissertation has been evaluated and the viva voce is pending may be admitted to the Ph.D. programme of the same Institution.Candidates possessing a Degree considered equivalent to M.Phil. Degree of an Indian Institution, from a Foreign Educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme.
