 For admissions at Gujarat Biotechnology University, candidates need to submit the following documents: class 10th mark sheet, class 12th mark sheet, graduation mark sheet, post graduation mark sheet (for PhD course), Entrance exam scorecard, College leaving certificate and transfer certificate (if applicable), Domicile certificate (if applicable), Passport-size photographs, Caste Certificate (if applicable), and Aadhar Card.

For admissions to the PhD programme at Gujarat Biotechnology University, candidates must have an M.Sc. or MTech degree in Biotechnology or any discipline of Biological Sciences with at least 55% marks. They should also have a valid CSIR UGC JRF, DST-INSPIRE, DBT-JRF, or ICMR-JRF fellowship.
