Gujarat University UG admission for the majority of courses is based on the academic merit of the applicants. However, admission to the BDS programme is based on marks obtained in the NEET exam. Gujarat University PG Admission 2026
Gujarat University PG admissions are either based on academic merit or entrance examination scores. For example, admission to MBA and M.Tech is based on CMAT and GATE/PGCET whereas admission to MA is based on merit. Gujarat University Selection Criteria 2026
Gujarat University selection criteria for the majority of courses is merit-based. However, it differs for a few courses such as MBA, M.Tech, and BDS. Students looking for admission to an MBA will be required to qualify for the CMAT examination.
Similarly, Gujrat University admission to M.Tech is based on GATE/PGCET scores. Students can check out the Gujarat University selection criteria for different courses below. Gujarat University selection criteria for MBA is based on CMAT scores followed by counselling conducted by ACPC.
Gujarat University selection criteria for M.Tech included qualifying for the GATE or PGCET exam followed by ACPC counseling. Gujarat University BDS selection criterion is based on NEET scores. Gujarat University selection criteria for PhD is based on an entrance exam conducted by the university followed by GD and PI.
Students who have qualified for SET/UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/JRF/TRF or entrance test of CSIR/ICAR/ICMR/DBT/DST or GATE/CAT with more than 75 percentile or have an M.Phil degree or any fellowship are exempted from the Gujarat University entrance exam for PhD.
