The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. However, it may be noted that such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the program provisionally, only if they submit a certificate from the Principal/Registrar of their University/Institution (issued on or before the date as stipulated by the respective IIM) stating that they have completed all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of issue of the certificate.

All full-time Research Scholars are provided, fellowships that cover all academic expenses (consisting of tuition, computer, library, placement, and alumni fees) and living expenses (comprising boarding and lodging). Research students are given a scholarship and additional financial support as per the details given below: Scholarship: For 1st and 2nd Year: INR 35,000 per month and for 3rd and 4th Year: INR 40,000 per month. Additional Financial Support: Contingency Grant: INR 40,000 per year for four years To purchase a Laptop: INR 50,000 one-time allowance To attend Conferences: Up to 2,00,000 during the PhD program after completion of a comprehensive exam. IIM Jammu Details
Indian Institute of Management Jammu provides financial assistance in terms of scholarship for research scholars enrolled in the PhD Management programme. IIM Jammu includes compensation for the cost incurred during the research process and their living expenses. IIM Jammu scholarships are offered to all full-time Research Scholars to fund all college costs (including tuition, computer, library, placement, and alumni fees) as well as living expenses (comprising boarding and lodging). As a supporting backdrop to research, the PhD students are provided with a grant and extra financial support. Research students can access the financial assistance and IIM Jammu scholarships after fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
