About
The Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE) was established in the year 2010 located in Gandhinagar of Gujarat. It was accredited by NCTE, NAAC. The various courses offered are under undergraduate Program BA + B.Ed with 100 seats, B.Ed with 50 seats, B.Ed + M.Ed with 50 seats, and B.Sc.+ B.Ed with 100 seats. Under the postgraduate program, they offer MA + M.Ed with 50 seats, M.Ed with 50 seats, and MSc + M.Ed with 50 seats. The faculty to student ratio is 1:15. Shree Kireet Joshi Library, the Central Library of IITE. There are three undergraduate courses, three postgraduate courses, and a research course. However, all these courses are full-time courses. The college will offer internships to its students in various educational institutes and schools. Course Eligibility Criteria Course Fees (in Rupees) BSc & B.Ed Integrated Qualifying Exams: i3T-Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee conducted by IITE. Prerequisites: Class 12 (Science stream with A or B or AB group) with 50% aggregate having English as a subject can apply. INR 45,000 for a year BA & B.Ed integrated Qualifying Exams: i3T-Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee conducted by IITE. Prerequisites: Class 12 (Science stream with A or B or AB group) with 50% aggregate having English as a subject can apply INR 50,000 for a year B.Ed Qualifying Exams: i3T-Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee conducted by IITE. Prerequisites: Class 12 (Science stream with A or B or AB group) with 50% marks having English as a subject can apply Rs 50,000 for a year M.Ed Qualifying Exams: i3T-Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee conducted by IITE. Prerequisites: Graduates in any of the subjects and B.Ed from any UGC recognised university with at least 50% marks Rs 30,000 for a year MA/MSc M.Ed Qualifying Exams: i3T-Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee conducted by IITE. Prerequisites: BSc / BA B.Ed or BSc/ BA and B.Ed pass Student can be enrolled. The admission cycle will be usually conducted during May-June of every year. The application process will be purely online. Their admission will be based on the merit list of marks obtained in the i3T entrance test. Note: As of now the admission process for the academic year 2021-22 has been fully closed for all university courses. The admission process for the academic year 2022-23 will start from June 2022. Whenever their admission starts that will be uploaded on their website. Indian Institute of Teacher Education Scholarships 2022 Scholarships will be available only for selected courses (BSc B.Ed) of students. The top five rank scorers in the entrance test will get the opportunity to avail scholarship i.e., waiving their tuition fees. However, the candidates should pay the rest of the amount of this fee to secure admission. In Gujarat, the student will be eligible for the provision of the student’s Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme which will be provided to the family from a specific income and the student should be a resident of Gujarat.

Scholarships are available for B.Sc., B. E.D. and B.A. students in the Social welfare department of the University. University has also made a provision to provide scholarship for having highest merit of the first 5 admitted candidates in the form of waiver of tuition fees to the student in the manner prescribed as under; The candidates who have attained highest score in the Final Merit List of the Entrance Test shall be considered as eligible for getting University Scholarship. There will be 5 scholarship awards in the form of waiver of Tuition Fees for the eligible students who will be given admission to B.Sc.B.Ed. and B.A.B.Ed. courses of the university only. However, the candidate is liable to pay all the other fees as prescribed in the brochure for securing the admission. In order to prepare the merit for the scholarship, minimum of 70% score from the Final Merit list will be considered as eligibility criteria. In the event of tie, the university will prepare a methodology and that shall be final for all the purposes. The candidate will be required to secure O+ grade throughout the course to get the scholarship for the entire course. In the event of failure to maintain O+ grade in any semester, the University will stop providing the scholarship to the student hence after.
