Admission Overview
Indian Institute of Teacher Education, Gandhinagar Admission Process
The Indian Institute of Teacher Education Gandhinagar offers a total of 15 undergraduate, 3 postgraduate, and 2 doctoral-level courses. All these courses are provided full-time and candidates must meet the prescribed IITE eligibility criteria to get themselves enroled. Passing an exam is the gateway to gain IITE admission at different colleges affiliated with this university.
Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee(i3T) conducted by the university is the IITE entrance examination that must be completed to gain admission. IITE seats will be allocated as per the merit list prepared based on the marks obtained in the i3T. As this is a public university, all reservation norms prescribed by the state government will be strictly followed.
IITE UG Admissions 2024
The Indian Institute of Teacher Education offers a BA of 3 years, B.Ed of 2 years, and other integrated courses of 4 years as part of its curriculum. Please note that the B.Sc course is provided only as an integrated course.
IITE UG Eligibility Criteria
Courses Seat Intake Eligibility
Criteria BA B.Ed Integrated 100 Candidates should have passed 10+2 with English as one of the subjects from a recognised board. A minimum of 50% marks are required. B.Ed 100 Candidates must have a degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board.
B.Sc B.Ed Integrated 100 10+2 with a science stream is required. A minimum of 50% marks are required. BA Education - Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.
B.Ed M.Ed Integrated 50 A degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university is required.
IITE UG Admission Procedure
Meeting the eligibility criteria is the first step to admission. Candidates need to pass the entrance examination. Candidates clearing the cutoff can apply for admission by filling out an application form.
Seats will be allocated based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. Valid documents and fees need to be submitted.

IITE PG Admissions 2024
The Indian Institute of Teacher Education offers M.Ed of 2 years, MA Education of 2 years, and other integrated courses of 3 years as part of its curriculum. IITE PG courses have a fixed seat intake and eligibility criteria as provided below.

Admission Process
Indian Institute of Teacher Education or IITE Gandhinagar admission 2021 is closed now. IITE offers the following seven courses over main streams of Teaching & Education, Science, Social Sciences, and Arts. The courses are residential programs and admission to these is on the basis of the merit of the entrance exam- Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee conducted by the Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE). Indian Institute of Teacher Education is the University established by the Government of Gujarat . It has 30 affiliated colleges under it..The University follows the guidelines of the Government of Gujarat/UGC/NCTE. IITE Gandhinagar Admission 2021: Highlights Admission to the courses shall be on the basis of merit of the entrance exam Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee (i3T) conducted by the Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE) . Details
Scholarships are available for B.Sc., B. E.D. and B.A. students in the Social welfare department of the University. University has also made a provision to provide scholarship for having highest merit of the first 5 admitted candidates in the form of waiver of tuition fees to the student in the manner prescribed as under; The candidates who have attained highest score in the Final Merit List of the Entrance Test shall be considered as eligible for getting University Scholarship. There will be 5 scholarship awards in the form of waiver of Tuition Fees for the eligible students who will be given admission to B.Sc.B.Ed. and B.A.B.Ed. courses of the university only. However, the candidate is liable to pay all the other fees as prescribed in the brochure for securing the admission. In order to prepare the merit for the scholarship, minimum of 70% score from the Final Merit list will be considered as eligibility criteria. In the event of tie, the university will prepare a methodology and that shall be final for all the purposes. The candidate will be required to secure O+ grade throughout the course to get the scholarship for the entire course. In the event of failure to maintain O+ grade in any semester, the University will stop providing the scholarship to the student hence after.
