SCET Surat Admission Process
SCET Surat offers admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes under different specialisations. SCET Surat admission is offered to 9 B.E/B.Tech, 5 M.E/M.Tech and 16 Ph.D programmes in engineering and technology specialisations. The SCET Surat admissions for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses are done based on the entrance examination scores.
Candidates must meet the SCET Surat eligibility criteria for pursuing their desired courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. SCET Surat B.E / B.Tech selection process is based on the performance in the GUJCET entrance examination and SCET Surat ME/M. Tech eligibility criteria are to attend the GATE entrance examination, followed by counselling. SCET Surat MCA selection criteria are based on the performance of candidates in the CMAT entrance examination.

SCET Surat Admissions 2025 for M.E./M.Tech Course

Criteria M.E / M. Tech 24 Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in the relevant stream with 50% marks in aggregate from an approved University + a valid score in the GATE Examination.
SCET Surat M.E/ M.Tech Admissions Process 2025
Candidates have to appear for the National-level entrance examination GATE. Candidates have to register and fill in choices of their preferred college and branch choices. The allotment of seats will be based on merit and entrance.
Candidates who do not appear for the GATE Exam, including sponsored (non-GATE) will have to qualify Common Entrance Test of the current academic year. Final admission is offered after document verification and fee payment.

Admission Process
All the latest updates regarding Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology admissions are as follows: The GUJCET 2026 result for admission to the BE/BTech and BPharma courses has been released. Appeared candidates in the exam can log in and check their results on the official website. Also, the registrations for round 1 counselling are ongoing, with the last date being May 31, 2026 . The JEE Main 2026 session 2 result has been announced on the official website for admission to the BTech, BArch and BPlan courses. The NATA 2026 registrations are ongoing for admission to the BArch course. The phase 1 examinations will be held till June 13, 2026 , and the phase 2 exam will take place on Aug 7 and Aug 8, 2026 . The XAT 2026 result is out for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses. Students need to log in to the official XAT portal to access and download their scorecard. The GATE 2026 exam has been concluded for ME/MTech admission.

SCET Surat Details
Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology, Surat offers various scholarships for needy students with consideration of merit as well as the financial condition of the student. SCET Surat scholarship is classified into three categories that include Government Scholarships, Assistance from Community and Bank Loans, and scholarships offered by private firms. Government scholarships include the Pragati scheme for girls, the Honorable Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme, Gujarat, Central Sector Scholarship Scheme, and scholarships for minorities. The Late Mrs Chandravatiben Yashvantlal Kaji Scholarship and the Share and Care Foundation- Loan Scholarship are community-assisted scholarships. Private firms also offer scholarships such as the ISA PMCD scholarship and CMS Limited for economically challenged (SC/ST) students. The college provides assistance for the scholarship of SC/ST/OBC and minority students from the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of the Government of Gujarat and the Government of India.

Mark Sheet of standard Xth /XIIth / others as applicable. Annual family Income Certificate for the preceding financial year in the prescribed format issued by those, not below the rank of Tahsildar. Disability certificate issued by Competent Authority. (if applicable) Admission letter issued by Directorate of Technical Education for admission in Diploma/Degree course. Certificate issued by the Director/Principal/ Head of the Institute. Tuition fee receipt. AADHAR linked Bank Pass Book in the name of the student indicating the Account number, IFSC code and Photograph. Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC category. AADHAR card. Residence Certificate. Declaration by parents duly signed stating that the information provided by their child is correct and will refund the Scholarship amount if found false at any stage. Copy of Fee Receipt. Candidates must fill out the application form correctly and submit all the original documents without any failure.
