Bihar STET dummy admit cards are out — fix any mistake before 30 September

The Bihar School Examination Board has released dummy admit cards for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 on the STET registration portal. A dummy card is a proof copy: it shows what the board has on record so you can catch errors before the final admit card is printed.

What to do

• Log in with your user ID and password and download the dummy card.
• Check every field — name, photograph, signature, category, date of birth, paper and subject.
• Correct anything wrong through the edit/correction option before 30 September 2026.
• If you change your reserved category, you may have to pay an additional fee, also by the deadline. Keep the confirmation receipt.

Why it matters

The STET decides who is eligible to teach in Bihar's government secondary and higher secondary schools, and it feeds directly into the state's large teacher-recruitment drives. A category or name error that survives onto the final admit card can become a problem at document verification months later, when it is far harder to fix.

The board has said the test will be computer-based. Exam dates and the shift schedule have not been announced yet.
