Missed Gujarat’s first two MBBS rounds? Round 3 registration closes at 4 pm on 30 September
Gujarat’s UG medical admission committee has opened a fresh registration for round 3 of MBBS and BDS admissions. PINs are on sale until noon on 30 September, registration closes at 4 pm the same day, and from this round only original documents will be accepted at help centres.
Gujarat's Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses has published its round-3 advertisement for MBBS and BDS seats in government and self-financed colleges for 2026–27. It gives students who stayed out of the first two rounds one more way in — but the window is only a few days long.
Who can register now
- Students who passed Class 12 science (B or AB group) from the Gujarat board, or from a school located in Gujarat affiliated to CBSE, CISCE, Cambridge or NIOS, and who qualified in NEET UG 2026, and who did not register in round 1 or round 2.
- Also eligible: candidates who were allotted a seat in round 2 but did not confirm admission and exited with their security deposit forfeited.

Money and paperwork
- The PIN costs ₹11,000 — ₹1,000 non-refundable plus a ₹10,000 refundable security deposit.
- If you bought a PIN in round 1 or 2 but never finished registration or verification, do not buy another one. You only need to complete verification at a help centre.
- You book your verification slot yourself: the date and help centre are chosen when you print the registration slip. Help centres work 10 am–4 pm on weekdays and 10 am–12 noon on Saturday, and are shut on Sundays and public holidays.
- New from round 3: verification is done only against original documents. DigiLocker copies and colour printouts will not be accepted. Carry the originals plus one set of self-attested photocopies.
- Applying for the local-quota seats at Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad or SMIMER, Surat? You also need a certificate from the dean of that college confirming you are a local resident.
- NRI candidates must also submit a ₹10,000 demand draft in favour of "ACPUGMEC", payable at Gandhinagar, at the committee's office in GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar.
If you are cancelling instead
Students holding a Gujarat seat who have something better elsewhere can cancel in person at the help centre where they reported. Take a written cancellation application, the original admission order, a photocopy of the fee receipt, a self-attested copy of your other allotment letter (all-India quota, deemed, central university or another state), and ID proof. A parent can go in your place only with an authority letter signed by you. The committee's procedure note says fees are adjusted if you take a round-3 seat and refunded after the process if you take none; it does not address the security deposit, which was forfeited for candidates who cancelled in round 2 — ask at the help centre before you sign.
