The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gujarat has published the round-2 seat allotment for first-year BAMS (Ayurveda) and BHMS (Homoeopathy) for 2026-27. The rank-wise and institute-wise results, the closing ranks and a vacancy list dated 8 October 2026 are on the committee's notice board.

  • Help centres are open 10 am to 4 pm on weekdays and 10 am to noon on Saturdays. They are shut on Sundays and public holidays — so Sunday 11 October is not a working day.
  • Bank payments only work during banking hours on working days. If you plan to pay offline, do not leave it to the afternoon of 13 October.
  • Your admission is confirmed only when the fee is paid, the originals are with the help centre and you hold an admission order.

How tight round 2 was

Ayurveda filled first. The five government Ayurveda colleges closed for the open category within the top few hundred state merit numbers: the State Model Institute of Ayurveda Sciences, Kolavada at 100, Government Akhandanand Ayurveda College, Ahmedabad at 176, Government Ayurveda College, Vadodara at 213, Government Ayurved College, Junagadh at 274 and Sheth J.P. Government Ayurved College, Bhavnagar at 296. Self-financed Ayurveda colleges closed much further down the list, from about 560 to almost 3,900.

Homoeopathy is the opposite story. The vacancy list dated 8 October shows 945 government-quota BHMS seats still unfilled after round 2, spread across homoeopathy colleges statewide. No Ayurveda government-quota seats appear on that list.

New seats in the matrix

  • BAMS: five self-financed Ayurveda colleges (in Gandhinagar, Mehsana, Amreli and Jamnagar districts) were added to the round-2 matrix with 325 seats, of which 194 are government quota. The list was last updated on 7 October.
  • BHMS: seven homoeopathy colleges, including Anand Homoeopathy College, were added with 281 seats, 176 of them government quota.

What round 3 looks like

  • The national AYUSH schedule the committee follows puts state round 3 between 24 and 29 October, with joining by 3 November. Stray-vacancy rounds run from 12 to 27 November, and 30 November 2026 is the last date for any BAMS/BHMS admission this year.
  • The committee's special notice says students who have confirmed a seat by round 2 can take part in round 3.
  • The 15% all-India-quota seats in self-financed colleges are allotted first in round 3. The state-quota allotment follows two hours later, and any seats left over from the all-India round are added to it.
  • If you hold a state-quota seat and then get a seat in the all-India round 3, your state-quota seat is cancelled automatically. If you are allotted or upgraded in round 3 and do not report, you are out of every later BAMS/BHMS round and you lose your security deposit.

What to do now: if you have a round-2 seat you want, pay and report before 13–14 October. If you are holding out for a better seat, fill round-3 choices only for colleges you will actually join.
