Gujarat panchayat Junior Pharmacist result: 334 names on the merit list for 164 posts, general cut-off 130 out of 200

The Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board has published provisional results and a merit-cum-document-verification list for 164 Junior Pharmacist (Class III) posts. Candidates can check their marks until 11 pm on 29 October. The general-category cut-off is 130.15 out of 200, and selected candidates start on a fixed pay of ₹40,800 a month.

The Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB) has published the provisional result of its Junior Pharmacist (Class III) recruitment under Advertisement No. 07/2026-27, along with a provisional merit list cum document-verification list, both dated 9 October 2026. The computer-based MCQ test was held on 24 June 2026. The final answer key came out on 17 September.

Check your marks

  • The result is on the board's result portal from 7 pm on 9 October to 11 pm on 29 October 2026. Log in by choosing the advertisement and entering your confirmation number and date of birth. An OTP is sent to your registered mobile number or email.
  • Download or print your scorecard before the window closes.

The cut-offs

The test was out of 200 marks, and the minimum qualifying standard was set at 40%. The board has listed 334 candidates, about two for every post, for document verification. The last mark that made the list in each category:

The highest score on the list is 154.52. Cut-offs are the same for men and women in every category.

Where the 164 jobs are

The posts are in district panchayats, and almost all are in border and tribal districts: Kachchh 55, Dahod 26, Chhota Udepur 24, Devbhumi Dwarka 14, Mehsana 10, Jamnagar 8, Gir Somnath 7, Tapi 6, Bharuch 4, Botad 4, Mahisagar 3, and one each in Bhavnagar, Junagadh and Porbandar. By category, 78 posts are general, 51 SEBC, 16 EWS, 11 ST and 8 SC. Within these, 39 are reserved for women, 11 for ex-servicemen and 6 for persons with benchmark disabilities.

Pay is a fixed ₹40,800 a month for the first five years, after which the regular pay scale applies under state rules.

What happens next

  • The board will announce online or physical document verification separately. If you are on the list and do not upload or produce your certificates in time, you will be disqualified.
  • Being on this list does not guarantee a post. The final select list and district allotment come after verification and online district preferences.

What to do now: if your name is on the list, gather your pharmacy degree or diploma, Pharmacy Council registration, caste, non-creamy-layer or EWS certificate and computer-knowledge certificate now, and check the GPSSB site for the verification notice.
