Gujarat MBBS and BDS round 3 is out: pay fees by 3:30 pm on 13 October, report by 4 pm on 14 October

The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gujarat published the round-3 allotment for first-year MBBS and BDS on 10 October 2026. Choice filling for this round closed that morning. If you got a new or upgraded seat: the deadlines

StepFromUntil
Pay tuition fees (or the fee difference) online10 October13 October, 3:30 pm
Pay at a designated HDFC Bank branch12 October, 10:30 am13 October, 3:30 pm
Report at a help centre with original documents12 October, 10 am14 October, 4 pm
  • Help centres are open 10 am to 4 pm on weekdays and 10 am to noon on Saturdays, and are closed on Sundays and public holidays. Today, Sunday 11 October, nothing is open.
  • You book your help-centre date and centre when you print the allotment letter, so do that first.
  • About 1,440 students are on the committee's list of students who have to report this round, and more than 400 of them have BDS seats.
  • NRI seats: if this is your first NRI allotment, you have to pay a refundable deposit of ₹5 lakh by 3:30 pm on 13 October. You then pay the dollar tuition fee at the college by 4 pm on 14 October. If you miss the college payment, the admission is cancelled.

The upgrade trap

If round 3 moved you to a different college, your earlier seat has already been cancelled. If you do not confirm the new seat by reporting, you lose that one too, and you end up with nothing. If you were upgraded within the same college (for example from a reserved-category seat to a general seat, or into the local quota at NHL or SMIMER), you do not need to go to a help centre.

Where round 3 closed

These are the last state general-merit numbers admitted to open-category government-quota seats, counting every round so far:

  • B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad: 150. Government Medical College, Vadodara: 400. Government Medical College, Surat: 536. PDU Medical College, Rajkot: 643. M.P. Shah Government Medical College, Jamnagar: 781. Government Medical College, Bhavnagar: 941.
  • GMERS colleges: from 1,015 at Sola (Ahmedabad) to about 2,415 at Godhra and Rajpipla.
  • Self-financed colleges (government quota): from 3,009 at GCS Medical College, Ahmedabad to 6,744 at Parul Institute of Medical Sciences, Vadodara. Management-quota seats went as far as merit number 14,143.
  • BDS: the Government Dental College in Ahmedabad closed at 3,208 and the one in Jamnagar at 4,170. Self-financed dental colleges closed at up to 11,358 for government-quota seats and about 13,375 for management-quota seats.

Who has left the list

  • 175 candidates who joined an all-India-quota seat by MCC round 3 have been removed from the state merit list, as MCC's notice of 10 October requires. Their state seats go back into the pool.
  • 72 students who cancelled a round-2 admission have lost their security deposit and are off the merit list.
  • The 19 unfilled ST government-quota seats at three dental colleges (Visnagar 10, Amargadh 8, Siddhpur 1) have been converted to the general category.

What comes next

Under the national NEET UG schedule the committee follows, the state stray-vacancy round (round 4) runs from 17 to 21 October, and the last date to join is 26 October 2026.

What to do now: on Monday morning, download your allotment letter and fee challan, pay the fee and keep your help-centre appointment. If you are waiting for the stray round, keep your login details and original documents ready, and check the committee's notice board every day from 15 October.
