Gujarat pharmacy seats still open: 518 vacancies in government colleges, form closes 2 October
Gujarat’s professional courses admission committee has opened an offline vacant round for degree and diploma pharmacy seats in government and grant-in-aid colleges. Registration runs from 30 September to 2 October, the merit list comes on 5 October and counselling is on 7 October in Ahmedabad.
The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat has announced one more chance at degree and diploma pharmacy seats in the state's government and grant-in-aid institutions. The notice is dated 30 September 2026 and covers admission year 2026–27. It follows the online vacant round: these are seats left empty because candidates did not report or were never allotted one.

The notice prints the end date of registration as "02.10.02026", an obvious typing slip for 2 October 2026.
Who can take part
- Students with merit who missed the earlier registration window, or who passed the supplementary exam, and who meet the Pharmacy Council of India and state rules.
- Every candidate who wants to take part must fill this registration form; the notice makes it compulsory.
- The notice's eligibility sentence also refers to candidates who did not take GUJCET-2026. Read that line on the portal before you assume you are in or out.
What you need on 7 October
- All original documents, with photocopies.
- A token tuition fee of ₹2,100 in cash only, plus a ₹350 registration fee.
- Fee refunds after an earlier admission is cancelled follow the government's "Cancellation of Admission and Refund of Fees" rules.

The provisional table, which is GUJCET-based and subject to change, lists 187 degree and 331 diploma seats — 518 in all.

- Diploma: M. N. College, Khambhat (117); L. M. College, Ahmedabad (59); Modasa (49); Tolani Institute, Adipur (42); A. R. College, Vallabh Vidyanagar (32); B. K. Modi, Rajkot (19); Bardoli (7); Bhavnagar (6).
The committee says only the seats in the table will be filled in this round, with related vacant seats in the same institution's other courses to be allotted as well. Merit priority follows the government's current rules. The helpline is 079-26566000.
