The exam behind the numbers

The test was held on 22 August 2026 across 205 centres in 104 cities, with a re-examination for affected candidates on 1 September. Top scores ran close to the ceiling: 417 marks in Homoeopathy, 390 in Ayurveda, 359 in Unani and 319 in Siddha, each above the 99.86th percentile.

What happens next

The testing agency has been explicit that it has no role in counselling. All-India quota seats are allotted by the Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee; state and union-territory quota seats are handled by the respective state authorities, on their own merit lists and eligibility rules. Qualifying is not an admission — register separately with whichever counselling body applies to the seats you want, and watch that body's portal, not the result site, for dates.
