MDS in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry

Candidate must have completed BDS awarded by a University or Institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college.

Candidate, who after passing BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GoI/DCI, is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March 2024 can apply, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotatory internship and obtained provisional or permanent registration on or before 31st March 2024 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st March 2024.

The candidate must be an Indian National.The candidates must have appeared and cleared the NEET-MDS examinations.The Candidate must have passed B.D.S. examination from a Dental College recognized by Dental Council of India.The candidate must have completed the one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before (as per college instruction). He/she will have to produce a certificate of completion of internship before joining the course.The candidate should possess a permanent registration with any State Dental Council or Dental Council of India. If the registration certificate is not submitted within one month after admission to the postgraduate course, admission to course will be cancelled.Candidates who have passed Post Graduate Diploma course recognized by the DCI, of the duration of 2 years in particular specialty will be eligible for admission in MDS in the same specialty and the duration of his/her MDS course will be 2 years.
