The Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth in Pune is a Deemed-to-be-University, founded in 2003 by its parent society. Based in Pimpri, it is a private university with UGC approval, ISO certification and an A++ grade from NAAC. Its flagship programmes are BTech, BSc and MBBS, and NIRF 2025 placed it fourth for dentistry, twelfth for medicine and 41st among universities.
