Scholarships

  • DY Patil Vidyapeeth Scholarship
  • The DPU Merit Scholarship Scheme is a financial incentive programme for bright students who enrol in full-time undergraduate courses at Dr. DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune. The university has the sole authority to decide who gets the scholarship and who does not. The scholarship may be withdrawn if a student performs poorly in academics or fails two consecutive years of exams. The DPU Pune scholarship is also not available for students who receive any other form of financial assistance from elsewhere. The DPU Pune scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the selected students by the finance section of the university. The payment will be made in the month following the admission of the student to the next year of the course.

Full eligibility (official wording)

Candidate must have passed minimum three-year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded or appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree to be

awarded by any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least mentioned marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent.
