GCS Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Ahmedabad, was established in the year 2009. It is one of the prestigious medical institutions located in the state of Gujarat, India. This associated medical college is approved by the National Medical Commission to offer different medical programs at the bachelor's and master's levels. Situated on 25 lush acres, the Institute totals 795 in student strength and 174 in the faculty. GCS Medical College is a prestigious medical institution that offers education in almost all the branches of medical science. The college offers 22 courses listed under 3 different degree programs, namely specialized in different medical disciplines. The institute has myriad facilities that help in the all-round development of its students. Separate boys' and girls' hostels ensure comfortable accommodation. The library is rich and centrally air-conditioned with 40 desktops that have internet facilities to make it a learning cum research center. E-library and audio visual room are added conveniences to ensure the enhancement of the learning process. The aspiring medical professionals are given aspiring laboratories for their learning in the different departments of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Microbiology and are fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. For a rounded development of lifestyle, the students can avail sports facilities, a gymnasium, and a cafeteria. The on-campus health center is available with all the related medical services, while the auditorium plays the host to lots of connected events and seminars with academics and culture. GCS Medical College offers courses from undergraduate to postgraduate medical education. The GCS Medical College entrance, therefore is based at the national level. The MBBS courses will be through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. Post-graduate admissions to the MD and MS are through the NEET PG examination. These are standardized tests that ensure fairness and competition between the aspiring medical students.
