College Infrastructure: Infrastructure at GIDC Engineering college is good with good indication and in wide and open field. GIDC Engineering college is located at a peaceful place and greenery all around the campus. College consist of 5 auditorium and a well maintained sports ground. Read more
College Infrastructure: Infrastructure at GIDC Engineering college is good with good indication and in wide and open field. GIDC Engineering college is located at a peaceful place and greenery all around the campus. College consist of 5 auditorium and a well maintained sports ground. | Academics: GIDC is semi-government college and is under Gujarat Technological University. University consist of well qualified staff and also extracurricular activities. Each and every department is equipped with necessary lab requirements. Overall academics is well planned and executed. | Placements: University has a separate placement cell which offers good opportunities of job for Freshers but there is no internship program available in the college. Management is trying their best to give maximum placements but I am planning for further studies, so I haven't opt for placement.

They are very good to teach in the tier field and are very good teachers for students. Teachers are very friendly so students feel free to clear their doubts. If one is elite, I would suggest joining this college.
In my batch, there were 120 students. More than 95% of students passed out, and many of them got good placements in big companies. One of my friends got selected in an Umargao company named Tukson. A central lab with Wi-Fi is available. Furthermore, a large parking space is available with tight security. Moreover, mechanical students can learn practical things in workshops. All the faculty are supportive, and every year, they organise sports day and annual functions. All the milestone archivers get huge prizes. The top scorers get medals and prizes. | Every professor is highly educated and has in-depth knowledge of their sector. They all guide the students in a good way and are helpful to each student. They teach in a way that every student can pass the exams. Semester exams are not much difficult, one can crack easily. | If one is elite, I would suggest joining this college.

Classrooms are huge and more comfortable. The library is available in our college, and every book is available in it. The hostel is not available in our college. In terms of sports, our college management is awesome, and every student waits for it. | Faculty members are not only very friendly to their particular department students, but to every student. They are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable in their field. Their behaviour with the students is very helpful and friendly. Teachers and higher authority are very helpful to make students industry-ready as they arrange the site visit to the industry. So students can experience the practice situation regarding their fields. | I'm absolutely satisfied due to teachers, good placements in 2019 and really good infrastructure. | I chose the civil field because I like to build a career in this field. In computer engineering department about 10-15 companies visited the campus for placements in which 10% of companies were on-campus placement. TCS hired 2 students with a salary package of 4.5 LPA. Rest of the companies like Casepoint (Surat), Excellence-IT (Surat), Goldenmace IT Solutions (Navsari), 1Rivet (Valsad), etc., visited the campus for placements. Read more

There is dedicated training for the placement drive by the training and placement cell. | The infrastructure of our college is modern, and the structure of buildings is unlike traditional building structure. It has a tall pillars hallway. Labs are equipped with computers with the latest Intel i7 processors and 8 Gigabytes of RAM. The college does not provide hostel facility, but there is a facility for staying outside the college campus, which is 14 kilometres away from the college. Most of the outsider students stay at the paying guest or hostel near the college. The college canteen is great, and it has14 different menu items. Quality of food served is great because the ingredients are sourced from the farms nearby as the college is located in the region where there is agricultural land. The library is the best in this college with at least 20-30 copies of the books of each subject. There are more than 30 magazines subscription for each department. The college does not provide a medical facility, but there is a dedicated ground where the students can play sports. | Faculty members in our college were well-qualified. Some are masters, and some of them are doctorates. They conduct seminars and workshops regularly to teach the industry level education. Teaching quality is great. They teach more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. They conduct more labs than theory sessions. | It has the best infrastructure and startup assistance for skilled students. | Tech fests are organised every year on the campus. The college conducts new competitions in every 6 months to bring the students real talent to the world. There is a student startup cell which helps the students with the funds for startups. The college provides government scholarships for the students. The college organises event named Hackathons to boost up the students' productive knowledge.

The campus placement are provided to students in the semester 8 and the company provides good average package.Companies like HLE HILTI reliance l&t etc companys are hired for the placements.Many of the students get palced.My plan after the BE is to do job after BE and after the one year of job i want to go for the ME along with the job.
- The faculty of these college are excellent they try there level best to understand us concept and along with that they also guide for the future study or job.

The college can not accept any payment, they only give fee receipts and all the payments can be made from the bank. It also includes external fees in that fees. It does not provide a hostel facility to the students, which is a disadvantage for long distance students. | Faculty members are excellent in this college. The eductaion system is good because they focus on practical knowledge. | The college is good because of its campus and teaching facility. | I opted for this course, because of my interest in it. The nature is very good in this college. The college is far from the city area, and there is no train facility.

My College Experience and information
The course has too much progress in future and I liked to study in computer engineering is too good and interesting in studying.Some unnecessary subject are their in each semester.Timing of mid exam is 1 hr 30 min.And paper are medium level not too hard not too easy level.
- Canteen Time, festival Celebration, Function celebration.
- Regular lab and classes are taken . College timing is good.
- Too much submission work , No free lectures are there.

- It's a good to connectivity with seniors and other departments students
- The technical language faculties are very good at their knowledge.Their method of teaching, expertise and one o one doubts clearance and mentorship for future,career and particular subjects is outstanding.
- Canteen in the college is not good as that much as of the price of foods.
- Vehicles parking area is not good and not maintain properly
- Collage placements services is very poor and very few companies are came to hire students and also very less package given from them.

Since this college, GIDC Degree Engineering College, Navsari, has just had one year out and it's relatively a new college, commenting on the placement would be immature. Given that, the placement of the student is something the college works for but the results are yet to be reaped. | Entrance Exams & Admissions: The eligibility criteria for admission is same as that of any normal engineering college. A student is supposed to pass 10+2 for admission in the first year and diploma in the same field for admission in the second year of the discipline (also known as diploma2degree/ d2d). For admission, it is required for a student to also pass the IIT JEE MAIN entrance examination. Admissions are conducted by ACPC and there is no management quota. Typical cutoff depends upon the year's list and student's caste. | Fees & Scholarships: The course fee changes every year and increases by approximately 10% for every new batch at GIDC Degree Engineering College, Navsari. The current course fee stands at something around Rs 60000 but there is no guarantee that it will increase or decrease or remain the same. The fee is usually stated in the ACPC guide book which every student gets and the fee is same for each semester/year. Scholarships are usually furnished to the reserved castes aka SC, ST, OBC and the forms are available at the college administration. | Academics & Faculty: The college starts at 8:50 am and has 6 lectures of 1 hour each with a break of 10 minutes at 10:50am and another of 40 minutes at 1pm. There's a break after every 2 lectures. Every year, the student is supposed to write assignments and tutorials and lab manuals which depend on the subject. The quantity of the assignment depends upon the lecturer. As with every other college, there are some professors that are really good while some of them know a lot about their subject but fail at delivering it out to students at GIDC Degree Engineering College, Navsari. Overall, the college is good for students that want to study. | College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities: There are no hostels of the college. There are hostels at approximately 10km from mother college where one can easily get rooms. PG is available in the village at about Rs 400-500 per month. The food in the canteen in above average and eatable. It isn't anything like one would get at the canteens of the city College but it is comparatively good for its location. The canteen is kept clean and the food isn't that spicy. The cost of the food is also reasonable and there are shops outside college for other foods not available at the college. The infrastructure of the college is really good compared to other colleges. It has new equipment in the labs and the college departments try to get newer equipment with time. The computers are equipped with latest softwares. The library has books required for courses and the Internet facility is available for use after getting the permission from the concerned faculty. However, there is no WiFi facility for students at GIDC Degree Engineering College, Navsari. | Clubs & Associations: There aren't much clubs at the college and the college is void of the politics one usually finds at other colleges. Festivals are usually celebrated in even semesters. This includes sports week and annual function and if the students want they can also organise tech fests. The life in college is usually boring because bunking classes and leaving the college campus before time is prohibited. The canteen visiting times are limited and one can only visit the library in breaks or after 3:40 pm at GIDC Degree Engineering College, Navsari.

Course is relevant, because we are studying it. Curriculum is just old school, nothing much updated, but it's the game of mindset. Overall, the staff is fine, they teach decently. | Reality of GIDC Engineering College. | Events at the college are the only best things I like. Overall, you'll enjoy, take admission, but don't travel much. Good thing is that the fees are less.

The parking area is quite large, which is enough to park 100-300 cars and bikes, and also there is huge ground. | Faculty members are well educated, experienced and graduated from well-known universities. They work very hard here, but they have some ego and attitude. College consist of 5 auditorium and a well maintained sports ground. | Academics: GIDC is semi-government college and is under Gujarat Technological University. University consist of well qualified staff and also extracurricular activities. Each and every department is equipped with necessary lab requirements. Overall academics is well planned and executed. | Placements: University has a separate placement cell which offers good opportunities of job for Freshers but there is no internship program available in the college. Management is trying their best to give maximum placements but I am planning for further studies, so I haven't opt for placement.

All the faculty are supportive, and every year, they organise sports day and annual functions. All the milestone archivers get huge prizes. The top scorers get medals and prizes. | Every professor is highly educated and has in-depth knowledge of their sector. They all guide the students in a good way and are helpful to each student. Teachers and higher authority are very helpful to make students industry-ready as they arrange the site visit to the industry. There is dedicated training for the placement drive by the training and placement cell. | The infrastructure of our college is modern, and the structure of buildings is unlike traditional building structure. It has a tall pillars hallway. Labs are equipped with computers with the latest Intel i7 processors and 8 Gigabytes of RAM. The college does not provide hostel facility, but there is a facility for staying outside the college campus, which is 14 kilometres away from the college. Most of the outsider students stay at the paying guest or hostel near the college. The college canteen is great, and it has14 different menu items. Quality of food served is great because the ingredients are sourced from the farms nearby as the college is located in the region where there is agricultural land. The library is the best in this college with at least 20-30 copies of the books of each subject. There are more than 30 magazines subscription for each department. The college does not provide a medical facility, but there is a dedicated ground where the students can play sports. | Faculty members in our college were well-qualified. Some are masters, and some of them are doctorates. They conduct seminars and workshops regularly to teach the industry level education. Teaching quality is great. They teach more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. They conduct more labs than theory sessions. | It has the best infrastructure and startup assistance for skilled students. | Tech fests are organised every year on the campus. The college conducts new competitions in every 6 months to bring the students real talent to the world. There is a student startup cell which helps the students with the funds for startups. The college provides government scholarships for the students. The college organises event named Hackathons to boost up the students' productive knowledge.

In my course, the percentage of students that are passed in all the subjects is quite high, only a few who don't take study seriously fail. | Good facilities and above-average campus. Since this college, GIDC Degree Engineering College, Navsari, has just had one year out and it's relatively a new college, commenting on the placement would be immature. Given that, the placement of the student is something the college works for but the results are yet to be reaped. | Entrance Exams & Admissions: The eligibility criteria for admission is same as that of any normal engineering college. A student is supposed to pass 10+2 for admission in the first year and diploma in the same field for admission in the second year of the discipline (also known as diploma2degree/ d2d). For admission, it is required for a student to also pass the IIT JEE MAIN entrance examination. Admissions are conducted by ACPC and there is no management quota. Typical cutoff depends upon the year's list and student's caste. | Fees & Scholarships: The course fee changes every year and increases by approximately 10% for every new batch at GIDC Degree Engineering College, Navsari. The current course fee stands at something around Rs 60000 but there is no guarantee that it will increase or decrease or remain the same. The fee is usually stated in the ACPC guide book which every student gets and the fee is same for each semester/year. Scholarships are usually furnished to the reserved castes aka SC, ST, OBC and the forms are available at the college administration. | Academics & Faculty: The college starts at 8:50 am and has 6 lectures of 1 hour each with a break of 10 minutes at 10:50am and another of 40 minutes at 1pm. There's a break after every 2 lectures. Every year, the student is supposed to write assignments and tutorials and lab manuals which depend on the subject. The quantity of the assignment depends upon the lecturer. As with every other college, there are some professors that are really good while some of them know a lot about their subject but fail at delivering it out to students at GIDC Degree Engineering College, Navsari. Overall, the college is good for students that want to study. | College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities: There are no hostels of the college. There are hostels at approximately 10km from mother college where one can easily get rooms. PG is available in the village at about Rs 400-500 per month. The food in the canteen in above average and eatable. It isn't anything like one would get at the canteens of the city College but it is comparatively good for its location. The canteen is kept clean and the food isn't that spicy. The cost of the food is also reasonable and there are shops outside college for other foods not available at the college. The infrastructure of the college is really good compared to other colleges. It has new equipment in the labs and the college departments try to get newer equipment with time. The computers are equipped with latest softwares. The library has books required for courses and the Internet facility is available for use after getting the permission from the concerned faculty. However, there is no WiFi facility for students at GIDC Degree Engineering College, Navsari. | Clubs & Associations: There aren't much clubs at the college and the college is void of the politics one usually finds at other colleges. Festivals are usually celebrated in even semesters. This includes sports week and annual function and if the students want they can also organise tech fests. The life in college is usually boring because bunking classes and leaving the college campus before time is prohibited. The canteen visiting times are limited and one can only visit the library in breaks or after 3:40 pm at GIDC Degree Engineering College, Navsari.
