How to apply

IIM Ahmedabad's PGP admits through CAT followed by an institute application, a written ability test and a personal interview. A bachelor's degree with 50 percent is required, and executive and doctoral programmes use their own routes.

IIMA Special Need-Based Scholarships: All students admitted to the post-graduate programs (PGP & PGP-FABM), whose gross annual family income is below Rs.15,00,000 during the previous financial year are eligible to apply for this scholarship, subject to proof of family income, amount of educational loan taken, and candidate’s past earnings, etc. Family income includes the total income of the parent(s)/guardian(s) and spouse if married. The income before tax deduction will be considered. IIM-A shall determine the financial assistance required for each applicant based on its assessment of the applicant’s economic status evaluated through criteria like movable and immovable family assets, the number of dependents on the family income, and any other criteria it may deem necessary.

For PGPX:- The program has instituted 5 Interest Waiver Scholarship on merit basis which will work as interest waiver on bank loan taken by students (for the program fee) for a year. Maximum amount for the scholarship can go up to 3 Lakhs.

Industry Scholarships:- The Institute awards several industry scholarships to students based on academic performance. The Aditya Birla Scholarships and the Sir Ratan Tata Scholarships instituted by Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Mumbai, are examples of such scholarships. Nestle India Ltd. has instituted a scholarship for the PGP-FABM program.

Placements for our batch were quite good and better than the placement record of the previous year. The lowest salary package offered was 19 LPA. The highest domestic salary package offered was 60 LPA.

The percentage of students placed in our college is 85 percent. The highest package is 55 lakhs per annum, the lowest package is 11 lakhs per annum, and the average package is 27 lakhs per annum.
