IIM Nagpur Scholarship: With the aim to encourage meritorious students and the students from economically weaker backgrounds to pursue PGP (Full Time) programme at IIM Nagpur, the institute has initiated two types of scholarships: - IIM Nagpur Merit Scholarship – for top ten scorer candidates securing 95%ile or above in CAT. - IIM Nagpur Need-cum-Merit Scholarship – for candidates with family income less than Rs 8 lakhs The institute will be awarding scholarships to 20 students (10 merit and 10 Need cum merit Scholarships). The application process will be during the first year and through an internal process. Candidates selected for the scholarship will receive a complete waiver for the tuition fee for the two-year programme. The scholarship policy will be released once the academic year begins. IIM Nagpur will facilitate the processing of several scholarships awarded by the Government of India and various state governments. Some of the scholarships are as follows: a. Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses - Scholarships for Top Class Education for students with disabilities - Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students - National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students – Scholarship (Formally Top-Class Education for Schedule Tribe Students) – only for scholarships b. Chief Minister Fellowship Yojana (CMFY) – Jharkhand c. Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship to SC students – Maharashtra The Institute also facilitates scholarships awarded by corporates and private organizations. Candidates need to submit a detailed application, including copies of Class 10, 12, graduation marksheets, work experience certificate, certificate of disability (if any), caste certificate (if any).
In order to apply for PGP programme, candidates must have appeared for the CAT exam. Based on CAT score, eligible students can fill the application form. Candidates who submit the complete application by the stipulated date will be considered for a personal interview round. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the final stage of the admission process.
The documents required for the IIM Nagpur admission process are passport size photographs, class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, attested copy of degree of graduation/post graduation mark sheets/certificates, transfer certificate, caste certificate, migration certificate, entrance exam score card, work experience certificate and documents related to research/academic output (if applicable).
The required eligibility criteria for the IIM Nagpur PhD Management programme is that the candidates must have passed a master’s degree with a minimum of 60% or equivalent marks.
The admission process at IIM Nagpur for M.B.A is carried out in 3 stages. It will consider the candidate’s performance in Common Admission Test (CAT), Past Academic Performance (PAP), Work Experience (WE), Diversity (DI), and performance in Personal Interview (PI).
