The college I always wished for my bright future.

We had an amazing year and 13 students got placed in big firms with a 4 Lacs per annum package and had companies that were all big shots. They showed us real-world things and certainly also asked us something which was all myths for us. Also we had a clarity about how actually the thing works and wh...

A great college review- SRKIT

I would like to rate 4.9/5.0 for the course structure, faculty, their teaching, behavior and for all. I chose computer science and engineering because there is future in tech so i need to walk in a path of tech. This college and subjects and the faculty who taught them made me feel really confident ...

Pros

I appreciate the faculty and the nature of their behavior while teaching and the nature of the college obviously.
I also liked the teaching behavior of the faculty and doubts mentoring sessions by them.
I liked the college location and availability of the men in need as well.

Cons

The one of the thing in things i disliked most is the placements, i don't say that they aren't any placements but lesser in technical aspects.
I also disliked the availability of sports and games hours in my first year, but now there are credits for sports hour
There aren't much things i dislike, there aren't any words for disliking.

My Experience at SRK Institute of Technology Vijayawada

Students are eligible from 6th sem for placement Main drives start in 7th sem Some early drives also happen Companies like TCS,Wipro visit. Also Infosys and Tech Mahindra Offers are average in number Highest package is around 6-8 LPA. Average package is 3-4 LPA. Most roles are IT and support jobs ...

Pros

I Appreciate that the college provides a friendly environment and supportive faculty especially for students who are willing to learn. The fee structure is affordable which is a big advantage. However the college needs imporovment in placement options
My engagement with campus life has been decent, with participation in technical events, fests and cultural activities.Social interactions are good, and students can build strong connections but overall campus activity could be more dynamic.
The faculty are qualified and approachable with some having strong subject knowldge and explaining concepts early. However, teaching methods are often more theoretical and students need to put extra effort for practical understanding
Placements are average. The college provides training in aptitude and communication skills but mot job opportunities are from mass recuruiters.Students aiming for higher packages or core roles need to focus on self learning and external preparation
Infrastructure is satisfactory, with class rooms labs and library facilities available. However, some labs and campus amenties need modernization and better maintainance
The course curriculum follows JNTU standards and covers core subject well, but it lacks strong industry oriented learning .Students need to develop additional skills like coding, projects and certifications

Cons

I Did not like the placement opportunities in the college,as most of companies visiting are mass recruters with average salary pacakges,There are very limited core paying jobs which are very tough
I Also Found that campus life is somewhat limited.Although there are few events and fests, they are not conducted frequently, and overall student engagement could be improved
Some labs need better equipment and maintainance,There is no singnal inside the college
