The course is inclined towards VLSI technology and semiconductor. Curriculum is updated and inclined towards industry and real world applications. Two paper mid and semester examination are there . Difficulty level is medium.

Real Review of SVNIT from Real Person
The placements are pretty good the average package of CS is 15 lakhs per annum and in my department the highest is 21 lakh as per 2024 till now and average is somewhere around 10 to 11 lach per anum..
- Our college is the one of the top NIT and is very reputated
- Their is good research facilities and top notch sports facilities
- Professors are good and highly educated and some have 150 patent
- Infrastructure is old...instead their is renovation started
- It feels very humid here in summers instead of 6000 trees are here...
- Mess food is not very bad of first year.

My course is integrated MSC chemistry so I prefer it is the one of the good course because teachers tell everything it very equivalent to chemical engineering There is a not a big difference in chemical engineering or my course
- One of the best thing in my college is that there is no weak difference in integrated MSc student and b.tech student

- With the help of nit we get a strong aluminium at work
- I don't like the mess food of my college because sometime it bad
- There is no tuition fees remission for category student in integrated MSc course
- We get hardly a 1 NSP scholarship in integrated course that is the problem

Perfect college review
After 6 semester students is eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit but some big company like Amazon, Cisco,meeshi, Samsung for core branches BPCL ,iocl,ongc etc visited in the college and same companies like abinveb,he healthcare.

I just want to study in one core subject like chemistry.It is relatively easy. Exam are conducting in 2 ways one is mid sem that is after 2 month of sem start of 30 marks and another one is end sem at the end of sem that is 50 marks and 20 for internal marks like for quiz and assignment.

The curriculum is up to date with NEP schemes and the departments are quick to adjust and implement the said syllabus. The practicals conducted are at par with the theory. The exams are of moderate level with some subjects of high difficulty
- The location of the campus is fantastic considering the availability of goods and services
- Infrastructure is weak compared to other NITs but it suffices

- The first thing that i like about SVNIT is its prime location
- The next thing is festivals and many more events along with studies and the flexible schedule.
- The diversity of people coming here. People here are from different backgrounds and cultures.
- The infrastructure of the buildings. As the Institute is very old . New buildings are coming up but still a long way to go.
- The strict and early intime even after the freshers party
- The genral sports infrastructure is very poor.

My course curriculum is well stabilized, there are classes 5 days a week, 3 days of lab, and 5 days of classes Timing for the lab is 8:30 to 12:30...and for classes, it is 2 pm to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday is a holiday. The faculties are helpful.
