CUET PG 2027 will run across 17 days in March — plan your final year around it

Final-year undergraduates planning a master's degree at a central or participating university now have a window to work with. CUET (PG) 2027 is scheduled for 1 to 25 March 2027, spread across seventeen examination days, with 30 and 31 March held back as buffer dates.

The exact days

The proposed dates are 1 to 5 March, 8 March, 12 to 20 March, and 24 to 25 March 2027. Which day you sit depends on your subject paper — CUET PG runs hundreds of subject codes and allocates them across the window, so two students at the same college can have test dates three weeks apart.

Why a seventeen-day window is a planning problem

Most final-year undergraduate programmes hold internal assessments, practicals or project submissions in March. A CUET PG date that lands in the middle of that is not negotiable, and the city you are allotted may not be the city you study in. Three practical consequences:

• Do not book anything non-refundable in March 2027 until you have your admit card and city intimation.
• Tell your department early. Internal assessment dates are sometimes movable if asked weeks ahead and never on the day.
• Assume the later end. Preparing for a 3 March paper and sitting on 24 March costs you nothing; the reverse is a disaster.

The caveat

These dates are tentative and the calendar's publication is not itself a notification. The information bulletin, the application window, the subject-wise schedule and the admit card are separate releases — and the subject-wise schedule is the one that tells you your actual date.
