GPSC interviews 26 to 30 October for 49 municipal Assistant Engineer (Civil) posts and 12 Deputy Director of Agriculture posts

The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has fixed the week of 26 to 30 October 2026 for interviews in four recruitments for engineers and agriculture officers. The commission's interview programme is dated 17 October 2026, and detailed candidate-wise lists for three of the four followed on 19 October 2026. All interviews are at GPSC Bhavan, Gandhinagar, and the commission's calendar gives an 11 am start.

Assistant Engineer (Civil): phase 1 names 75 candidates

The largest of the four is the Assistant Engineer recruitment for the new municipal corporations. The commission's calendar lists 188 candidates against 49 posts across all five days. The detailed programme issued on 19 October is marked phase 1 and names 75 candidates, 15 a day. Interview numbers E-1 to E-15 go on 26 October, E-16 to E-30 on 27 October, and so on to E-61 to E-75 on 30 October. Reporting time is 9:30 am. The programme does not say when the other candidates will be called, so watch the commission's news page.

Deputy Director of Agriculture: 47 candidates

For Advertisement 122/2024-25 the detailed programme lists all 47 candidates: 12 on 27 October, 12 on 28 October, 12 on 29 October and 11 on 30 October, each reporting at 9:30 am. The Chief Scientific Officer programme names 10 candidates, all for 26 October at 9:30 am. For the Executive Engineer (Mechanical) post, the commission has so far published only the calendar entry of 17 October, with no detailed list.

What the commission asks of candidates

• Be at GPSC Bhavan at 9:30 am on your date, with all original documents required by the advertisement and one set of self-attested copies.
• Even if your physical call letter has not reached your postal address, you are asked to turn up. The commission says this applies to everyone on the list.
• Check your roll number against the detailed programme for your advertisement. Interview numbers and dates are listed side by side.
