Gujarat BAMS and BHMS round 3: new candidates can register until noon on 20 October, document checks close at 4 pm on 21 October
Gujarat’s medical admission committee has opened a third round for Ayurveda and Homoeopathy degrees. Students who have not registered so far can buy a PIN and register until 12 noon on 20 October, and must get their documents checked at a help centre by 4 pm on 21 October.

The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gujarat, has announced a third round for BAMS (Ayurveda) and BHMS (Homoeopathy) seats in government and self-financed colleges for 2026-27. The advertisement, issued on 16 October 2026, opens fresh online registration until 12 noon on 20 October, with document verification at help centres until 4 pm on 21 October.

Who can register in this round
The round is open to students who passed Class 12 science with the B or AB group from a school in Gujarat (Gujarat board, CBSE, CISCE, Cambridge or NIOS), who qualified in NEET UG 2026 on the all-India rank, and who meet the state’s admission rules. Within that group, it is for students who:
- did not register in round 1 or round 2, or
- were allotted a seat in round 2 but did not confirm admission and exited with their refundable security deposit forfeited.
The schedule
| Step | From | To |
|---|---|---|
| Cancel a round 1 or round 2 admission at a help centre | 17 October 2026 | 19 October 2026 |

| Online registration | 16 October 2026 | 20 October 2026, 12 noon |
| Document verification and photocopies at a help centre | 17 October 2026, 10 am | 21 October 2026, 4 pm |

Fee and appointment
- PIN: ₹1,000 (non-refundable) plus a ₹10,000 refundable security deposit, ₹11,000 in all.
- Already paid in round 1 or 2? If you bought the ₹11,000 PIN earlier but never finished registration or document verification, you do not need to buy it again. You only need to complete verification and submit photocopies at a help centre.
- Appointment: you choose your verification date and help centre yourself when you print the registration slip.
Where the seats are
The committee’s vacant-seat list after round 2 allotment, dated 8 October, showed 945 government-quota homoeopathy seats unallotted across 26 colleges. That list was drawn up before round 2 reporting, so the number of seats in round 3 can change once seats left unclaimed in round 2 are added back. Watch medadmgujarat.org for the round 3 vacancy list before you fill choices.
Under the national calendar set by NCISM and NCH, state round 3 counselling for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy degrees runs from 24 to 29 October 2026, and the last date to join a round 3 seat is 3 November 2026. The cut-off date for all admissions this year is 30 November 2026.
What to do now
- If you have not registered yet, buy the PIN and finish registration on medadmgujarat.org before 12 noon on 20 October.
- Print the registration slip and pick the earliest help-centre slot you can. Verification closes at 4 pm on 21 October.
- Check the committee’s list of required documents on medadmgujarat.org and carry the originals with self-attested photocopies of each.
- If you hold a round 2 seat you do not want, cancellation at a help centre closes today, 19 October.
