- The campus really is nice up unitl a certain point, it's well maintained and very diverse with flowers and a cricket ground which is mostly occupied by sports students but still it's a decent ground overall.
- It has high focus on NCC activities more than Engineering activities.. so if you aren't much of a nerd and you're interested in NCC activities only then this is the place for you... it does have great faculty for NCC
- You can call the boy to girl ratio very low, there are as many girls in college as there are fucks i give about this college.. pretty near non existent
- First of all it's far far too away from main city, the network there is poor sometimes and frequently inside the college campus building so we can't really communicate with anyone if urgency came and we have to contact someone or vice versa
- Most Teachers are dogshit except few who really want to teach and are good are now frequently leaving because of very very very toxic work culture from what i heard them saying.. students are left hanging and subjects aren't taught
- Point 2 but serious, due to teachers leaving entire semester we students have no one to teach and no one to guide for very difficult subjects so the study stress is insanely high and i got sick from the stress when giving exam without any guide
- Waiting for entire week for collecting fee receipt in big 2025 is crazy! When you submit entire fees you have to mail them proofs and details which is okay i suppose but we have to wait for entire week for receiving a piece of paper is mad
- Each and every class room is NOT AT ALL regularly maintained, every class is dusty and every class as well as corridors aren't cleaned frequently, one time a bat made our class home for entire 2 semester but no one cared to clean it up
- Point 6 continued, They show that yeah we regularly maintain the outside campus but never do anything for classes in which students sit and learn for entire 6 hours. Cleanliness in a different concept for them that they never understand
- Washroom quality is so fucked up.. All the urinals are broken with no proper flush pipes or drain pipes, The urinals don't even have partitions between them so like between 15 urinals in rush only 4 can be used because partition and okay condition
- All the washbasins aren't clean.. tobacoo spits every single god damn where and even in basins where we wash hands. it's disgusting and not even maintained for men.
- The toilet seats are broken and we can't even have shit without getting our clothes wet.no clothes hanger, no shoe and socks place for keeping it dry, leaky pipes and dirty flush buttons which are dirtier than shit and seats broken so we can't shit
- Bus stop is just a broken shed that are in movies. it's just a place to sit. but during rains or high dust storms it never protects you, students and locals ruined it by spitting tobacco every where and it's not comfortable to even sit for long time
- There are not enough GSRTC bus passing through the college which are empty, and whenever a govt bus passes through it's filled with smelly people and you have to stand for entire goddamn hour because students only have benefit of govt bus pass scheme
- When we miss a GSRTC bus which takes fair pricing for travels, private bus mafia takes 2.5x more money for same travels but even more cramped seats.. since they are frequent we students who are in urgency end up paying more
- THE COLLEGE BUS IS BULLSHIT, it's clearly for school kids with not much body size, same busses are used for college students with big builds.. it feels too much tight.
- COLLEGE BUS POINT AGAIN, if you buy a govt pass for bus, it costs you around 800 for 4 months which also gives you more freedom on when and where to go, whereas Clg bus cost you 15K per 4 months/sem which is crazy
- COLLEGE BUS POINT AGAIN, College bus just fucking leaves and doesn't even wait for you after paying absurd amount for it. sure it drops you near the home but ATLEAST WAIT, the college and school timings are different and students are left out
- Canteen food is very bland or too salty most of the time, it's decently priced for the quality of food but i'd rather eat leaves of trees on campus rather eating something from canteen
- Computer labs are broken, out of 25 computers only 3 work fine.. others have either software or hardware issues, all the desks are dusty which is not suitable for a computer lab
- WIFI quality is dogshit, i can't even send whatsapp messages without waiting 2 minutes, and it's not even accessible to all unless you solve a fucking mystery asking all the professors for password, since there's poor mobile connection in buildings
- Library and Librarian is toxic. You aren't allowed to enter when you are not wearing the perfect uniform. The computers in library are so small i'd rather use my phone with a bigger and better display
- Only good spot for hanging out was in corner of every building there was a good window and two benches facing each other, you can sit there while getting good air from the windows and talk with classmamtes, but the assholes removed the benches.
- The fans are so slow, in the summers i'd rather keep 2 men for doing the fanning for me like the old fashioned way, The fans are dogshit and you can't even adjust the speed of it since the fan speed controllers are broken in each and every class
- College activities have ceased to exist, no sports day, no other competitions, no hollywood/bollywood day, no good picnics nothing. it's a money eating scam nowadays
- Even if they manage to find teachers to teach they are so strict with timings, i'd rather not go to college. and asking them to adjust it feels like talking to a god damn rock.. no response and they never understand the student's discomfort with time
- You aren't allowed to use teacher's bathroom in admin or college building when you're in urgency.. WHICH ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION BTW COMPARED TO student's one which feels like chernobyl on average day.
- teacher's perfect condition bathroom are prohibited for students so we have to rush in this big campus of nothing far away for using toilets which are shitty in condition.. allow the pun
- They never hear student's voices. they know they are in better here since Veeraytan the only college that offers CSE course is even worse, students tend to come in HJD, so they monopoly here. GEC BHUJ needs CSE ASAP with masters eligibility.
