About IIIT Vadodara

Holding Institute of National Importance status, Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara was formed in 2013 as a Public-Private Partnership project of the central education ministry. It runs from temporary premises at Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar, until its new campus at Vadodara, Gujarat, is ready.

Undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes are offered in engineering streams, including B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD. JEE Main results count for BE/B.Tech admissions and GATE for ME/M.Tech, while PhD candidates are assessed through the institute's own entrance examination. The fee for the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is Rs 10.67 lakhs.

The institute releases its cutoff as an opening rank, and seats are allotted on merit.
