Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIIT Vadodara) was established in 2013 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, under a Public-Private Partnership. IIIT Vadodara is operating from its temporary premises at Government Engineering College (Gandhinagar) till the time its new campus is made operational at Vadodara, Gujarat. Courses in IIIT Vadodara are offered at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels in engineering streams. IIIT Vadodara courses include B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. JEE Main exam scores are considered for BE/B.Tech, GATE scores for ME/M.Tech courses for IIIT Vadodara admissions . For the Ph.D programme, the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara is considered for admission. IIIT Vadodara fees for BTech CSE is Rs 10.67 lakhs. IIIT Vadodara cutoff is released as an opening rank for the students to give seat allotment of their choice based on merit. Students are allowed to apply for desired IIIT Vadodara scholarships in a prescribed format as determined by the Institute. IIIT Vadodara was established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India under Public Private Partnership (PPP) as Institute of National Importance. It is one of the top government institutes to offer quality education to students in the field of Information Technology. Recognising bodies such as Government of India, Government of Gujarat, Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute, Tata Consultancy Services, etc. have partnered with the institute in this process.

Currently Institute facilitates the following scholarships. Currently, IIIT Vadodara facilitates the following scholarships, like the PM-Vidyalaxmi Scheme, National Scholarship, UP Scholarship, Social Justice and Empowerment, MYSY – Gujarat Government, MMVY – Madhya Pradesh Government, MahaDBT – Maharashtra Government, Digital Gujarat Government, CMSS – Gujarat Government, Bihar Credit Card scheme, Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme (PMSS), Telangana e-pass, Vidyasarthi Scholarship and any other scheme if proposed by the student. The institute will work proactively. Students belonging to socioeconomically weaker sections and disadvantaged students are offered financial aid and other help in the form of scholarships.
