Entrance exams and eligibility

IIM Udaipur offers the two-year PGP with 375 seats, a one-year PGPX in digital enterprise management, a PGPX in global supply chain management, an Executive MBA and a PhD. Shortlisting is built mainly on CAT, with GMAT accepted for some one-year programmes.

PGP: bachelor's degree and a valid CAT score; the institute sets category-wise minimum percentiles.
PGPX in digital enterprise management: 60 seats, at least 24 months of work experience, and a CAT or GMAT score.
Global supply chain management one-year programme: bachelor's degree, two years of work experience, and a CAT or GMAT score, with 60 seats. Executive MBA: accepts GMAT, GRE, CAT or the institute's own test, followed by an interview. PhD: no tuition fee, and scholars receive a monthly stipend of Rs 35,000.

How to apply

Register on the IIM Udaipur application portal with your CAT details, fill in personal, academic and work sections, add a statement of purpose, upload a photograph and signature, and pay the non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 (Rs 500 for SC, ST and PwD). The PGPX digital enterprise programme runs several application cycles through the year.

Selection and counselling

CAT carries the largest share of the merit score, at about 56 percent, with academics, work experience and diversity points making up the rest. Shortlisted applicants take the written ability test and personal interview. Final offers follow the merit list.

Fees and seats

Fees range widely by programme; the PGP is about Rs 21.71 lakh and the digital enterprise PGPX about Rs 20.50 lakh.
