MKBU Bhavnagar IT centre is equipped with IBM servers, Intel Xeon servers, and a number of desktop computers running software like various Operating Systems from MS-Windows family (Servers & desktops), Linux, RDBMS, etc. MKBU Bhavnagar IT Center is equipped with 25 computers including servers, 2 line printers, 2 laser printers, and 1 scanner.

Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University Library was established in the year 1979. Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University Library provides services as an information centre to the lecturers & students of 24 postgraduate departments of constituent colleges of Bhavnagar University, researchers, and administrative staff. The Library has 1,30,000 books and Above. MKBU Bhavnagar Library offers various information services to meet the needs of its users. Users like researchers, lecturers, students, and administrative staff can use this service. Nowadays automation of this library is under process. Data of more than 61,000 above Books and 1300 above theses has been entered into the software. Software SOUL 2.0, a well-known software in the field of library and information science, developed by INFLIBNET Centre, Ahmedabad Is used for data entry work.
