Christ University in Bengaluru is a privately owned university that grew out of Christ College, founded in 1969, and became a deemed university in 2008. The UGC conferred autonomy on Christ College in 2004. Four colleges are affiliated with the university, and its campuses include Bannerghatta and Kengeri.
Undergraduate and postgraduate courses include BA, B.Sc, BBA, MA, MBA, M.Sc, MCA and MSW. Admission is based on merit in the previous examination and on the university's own entrance test. For some courses, such as MBA, a micro presentation and personal interview also form part of the selection process.
Facilities include hostel accommodation, a gym, a library, medical facilities, a cafeteria, laboratories and wifi.

College Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi facility is available on the whole campus, but you need to register first on the college network. It also has a well-equipped computer lab, and PCs in the lab are also well-maintained.
