GSSSB Library Clerk result: all 86 posts filled, general cut-off 143.22 out of 210, and 19 names on the waiting list

The Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board (GSSSB) has declared the final result of Advertisement No. 342/2025-26, Library Clerk (Granthalay Karkun), Class III, for 86 posts in the office of the Director of Libraries, Gandhinagar, under the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department. The notice is dated 16 October 2026. It names 86 candidates on the select list and 19 on the waiting list.

Cut-off marks

The written test was a computer-based MCQ paper of 210 questions: 60 in Part A and 150 in Part B. One Part A question was dropped after the final answer key, so the remaining 59 were scaled to keep Part A at 60 marks. Wrong answers carried a negative mark. These are the marks of the last candidate selected in each category:

The top score on the select list is 173.78. A third list (Annexure C) names 76 candidates who were called for certificate checks but were absent, opted out, or did not make either list. Figures are rounded to two decimals; the board’s PDF gives them to five.

What selected candidates should do

1. Find your name and the category you were "treated as" on the select list. GSSSB sends the list to the department, which issues appointment orders.
2. Keep your original certificates ready. The department may check them again before you join.
3. If you are on the waiting list, keep watching gsssb.gujarat.gov.in. Waiting lists are used when selected candidates do not join.

For Advertisement No. 410/2026-27, Multi Purpose Health Worker (Male) under the special recruitment drive for persons with disabilities, the board published on 16 October 2026 the marks of all 176 candidates who sat the test. It has called 14 candidates for original-certificate verification for the 11 posts, at the Committee Hall, Block No. 2, First Floor, Karmayogi Bhavan, Sector 10-A, Gandhinagar, at 2:30 pm on 26 October 2026. That paper had 90 questions in Part A and 120 in Part B, with a quarter mark cut for each wrong answer.
