Sat GSSSB’s Group A and B combined prelim? Enter your bank details on OJAS by 22 October to get your exam fee back

The Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board (GSSSB) has opened the fee refund for Advertisement No. 378/2025-26, the Gujarat Subordinate Services Class III (Group A and Group B) Combined Competitive Examination. Candidates who appeared in the preliminary exam, held on computer from 16 to 29 September 2026, must enter their bank account details on OJAS between 2 pm on 15 October and 11:59 pm on 22 October 2026. The notice is dated 15 October 2026.

Why there is a refund

The advertisement charged ₹500 to unreserved candidates and ₹400 to all women, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS candidates, candidates with disabilities and ex-servicemen, and said the fee would be returned to everyone who sat the exam. After two corrigenda (18 and 27 February 2026), the exam covers 7,338 posts: 2,942 in Group A (including 1,600 revenue clerks in collector offices, 795 senior clerks, 324 head clerks and 140 social welfare inspectors) and 4,396 Junior Clerk posts in Group B. Group A mains is on 28 and 29 November 2026.

How to claim it

1. Open the refund link given in the notice on ojas.gujarat.gov.in (Reimbursement/Refund Application).
2. Select the job, then type your confirmation number, date of birth and the captcha.
3. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email, your exam roll number, bank name, branch, account holder name, account number and IFSC code.
4. Upload a clear copy of your passbook or cheque book page in JPEG, JPG or PNG format, between 50 KB and 1 MB.
5. Tick the declaration, submit, and save the receipt the system generates.

Mistakes to avoid

• Fill every detail in English capital letters.
• Copy the account number and IFSC code exactly as printed in the passbook or cheque book your bank gave you.
• The board says the deadline will not be extended. If you miss 22 October, you lose the refund.

In a separate notice dated 14 October, the board said the preliminary exam for Advertisement No. 366/2025-26 (Accountant, Auditor, Sub Treasury Officer (Accountant) or Superintendent, and Sub Accountant or Sub Auditor, Class III) is likely to be held on computer from 22 to 24 November 2026. The recruitment covers 776 posts under the Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries. The detailed schedule and call letter instructions will be posted on gsssb.gujarat.gov.in later.

What to do now

1. Find your OJAS confirmation number and the mobile number you used when applying. You need both to log in.
2. Photograph the passbook page that shows your name, account number and IFSC, and resize it to under 1 MB.
3. Submit before 11:59 pm on 22 October. Do not wait for the last evening, when OJAS slows down.
4. If you applied for Advertisement 366, mark 22 to 24 November and keep checking the GSSSB site for call letters.
