Waiting for a JoSAA, CSAB or DASA refund? CSAB’s 29 September table says when

The Central Seat Allocation Board has put out a one-page "Current Status of Refund" table dated 29 September 2026 covering JoSAA, CSAB and DASA. If you paid a registration, seat acceptance (SAF) or partial admission fee (PAF) and then withdrew, were not allotted a seat, or never reported, this is the schedule that applies to you.

If your bank details were wrong

CSAB says mismatched account or IFSC cases will be handled in two phases. First, it will refer to the cancelled cheque you uploaded. If that does not fix it, you will have to log in and correct the details yourself. Check now that the cheque image you uploaded is legible and matches the account you gave.

When you can check

The board says candidates will be able to check refund status through their login ID from the second week of October, subject to data coming back from the bank. Until then there is nothing further to do for cases marked "expected".
