Good placements in 2020 and really good infrastructure.
90% students get placed in multinational companies with good packages. The highest package is 37 LPA, average is 23 LPA and the lowest is 17 LPA. Top roles are Manager and MD Researcher. | Material Science and engineering department has the most valued lab XRD machine is in the lab. Classrooms are good with 24*7 Wi-Fi connection. Both North Indian and South Indian Food are available in mess. There are 14 messes in the college for 12 hostels. Health centre is near the campus with 24*7 working time ambulance services are also available. Inter NIT Teams selections and practices are here for both men's and women's. | Teachers are highly qualified and they have UG and PG from IITs. Teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry ready. Semester exams are medium in difficulty level and pass percentage is 40. Labs have a good number of computers with properly working systems, a good Wi-Fi connection, and a good signal. The library has many books and is a peaceful place to read and study. Hostel facilities are good; rooms are ventilated properly, with greenery outside the hostels. | Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach in a fun and interactive manner. I think the course curriculum is relevant and is updated with market-required skills. It will definitely make students market-ready. Exams are slightly difficult but ensure we learn all the topics in depth. | Beautiful college with a peaceful environment. | I chose this course because I like coding and want to become a software engineer. We have a good number of events.

My experience in my college is pretty good and fun too.
College Infrastructure: Yes, my college do have a lot of infrastructure that includes WiFi, smart boards etc and is properly maintained with all facilities and equipments. Some of the buildings do look old like they're from a long bygone era but the management ensures that they are well maintained. Read more

Some of the buildings do look old like they're from a long bygone era but the management ensures that they are well maintained. The students are provided with all the facilities they need, the college has good hostels, air conditioned Labs, a fantastic library, three tennis court, indoor badminton courts, and even a swimming pool, grounds etc | Academics: The academics seems to be pretty good here. But the teachers here seems pretty old and have way old practises and the students can't question them in any manner. Apart from these the teaching is pretty good, right from basics to everything we need. | Placements: The placements here are pretty good, almost there is a 100% placement in my college whereas the highest salary ranges almost 50 LPA. Top recruitment companies were Goldman Sachs, Oracle, Adobe systems etc.

We are staying in a newly built hostel called the New Mega Hostel. It contains 8 storeyed floors with 6 blocks and around 1,800 students can accommodate easily. In our hostel, Wi-Fi is enabled. Hostels are built far away from our campus. Drinking water is available. The food quality is better. Groceries shops are available. It has a modern laboratory with advanced tech for students. | Teachers are very helpful and friendly. They conduct interactive sessions for students. Individual assignments and group work are also conducted which can increase team morale of the group. The course curriculum is always updated according to changes. The new exam methods are approached by teachers rather than the conventional methods so that the students can face any type of situation at any time. | It has a good campus life. | I chose this course because I wanted to become an engineer. The best course of action is to take a master's in MBA as students could have some pre-requisite about management. Our campus life is the best. Fests named Ragam and Tathva are conducted in this college.

The campus has a hygienic canteen, nutritious food, a medical center, and sports facilities for fitness and overall well-being. | Experienced faculty members ensure high teaching quality through interactive and practical learning methods. The course curriculum is industry-oriented, offering practical knowledge and skills for real-world applications. The pass percentage is 95%. The exam level is hard. | I am satisfied with facilities. | I chose this course out of my passion for civil engineering. A better curriculum with practical applications should be provided, which will be helpful. Events are good. We can connect and communicate with different people there. Scholarships are good, and extracurricular activities are interesting.

College Infrastructure: The institution has a good infrastructure but doesn't have labs and department buildings for all departments.It has all the in the laboratories but not in good condition because of being one of the oldest NITS . | Academics: I am studying B tech in civil engineering.I chose this because I have always had interest in buildings and their constructions since childhood.The curriculum here is up to the date and the teaching also practical which makes us more interested interested in the subject. | Placements: Placements here are satisfactory.Although branches other CSE doesn't have more placements ,many people get hired for computer jobs by learning coding and package is also satisfactory.College always supports it's students in getting good job and further opportunities. | Value for Money: Being a central government aided institution,campus always helps the students economically.There is a minimal fee for the students of backward communities and economically weaker sections.And the education we get here is worth to what we are paying. | Campus Life: Campus is really a pleasant and gives homely feeling with many trees around.Students always have some refreshing acitivities and events to get entertained.Institution also has some interesting things like sports NSS NCC which really help students .It has surveillance every where in the campus and students protection is taken seriously.

Our Hostels and classrooms are clean and tidy but the way we walk for college is fully covered with crow shit, that's the only thing bad in NITC. | Academics: For me as a CSE student our faculty have rich knowledge about subject. Studying well or not depends on students and the doubts regarding subjects can be clarified by the respective faculty during particular session. And yes, we will be perfectly ready for any CSE related jobs. The curriculum gets updated with time. | Placements: Placements will be 100% for CSE students. But for a person to sit in placements should have minimum of 7 cgpa, 6.5 rarely, so that he gets placed. The maximum salary offered this year is 40,00,000. The process goes pleasant and easy if we are confident enough to face it. Our college is very supportive for placements. | Value for Money: Money paid by the students depends on their category for academic purpose. 40,000 will be paid every Student who stays in Hostels (mess and room). The facilities here worth the money we pay. | Campus Life: Campus is good in every factor includes sports, clubs. Students interested can participate in any fields. And every year technical and cultural fests are conducted which are popular through out India,they include many events in which we can participate. Staff are very supportive. It's a very pleasant to leave here surrounded by trees and greenery.

All faculty members are all phd holders. All the faculty are student friendly. | Placements: College offers excellent placements with good package. Usually computer science students get highest package with approx 30LPA. Maximum students sit in the placement and more than 90% of the students gets placed every year.

The faculties are well qualified and quality of teaching is good here. It makes a student ready for the job. It is also ensured that the students are understanding every concept and are able to apply in real life scenario by going through various case studies. | Placements: For the placement part, it is good. But it can be made better. Most of the students are placed from previous batch. And all reputed companies are coming to the campus with very good packages. I am sure that in the future, more companies will come to the campus and the placement rate will be 100%. | Value for Money: The fees for MBA at NIT Calicut is quite affordable. It is less that 3 Lakh. So, yes the ROI is very good. | Campus Life: Due to Covid-19, I did not get a chance to go the campus as of now. Online classes are going on. All the faculty members are post-graduates, and they are knowledgeable. Most of them are university gold medal holders. The teaching quality is excellent, with different methods. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. | Placements: More than 70 students were placed in MBEM. The faculty members here are the best. Students always about the study friendly atmosphere they provide here. Students from here have been placed in many government companies.70% got internship. All seniors told us that no one will be left out during internship. Worth coming here .

A wide range of top companies and multinational corporations (MNCs) visit the campus, including tech giants and core industry players. The highest package is around 42 LPA, and the median package is around 16 LPA. | NITC is a fully residential institution. The hostels are generally well-maintained, with good food and Wi-Fi connectivity. The campus is vast (around 300 acres), lush green, and offers a beautiful, eco-friendly environment. The food is great here. We have our own medical center here in NITC. | Professors are highly qualified. Many hold Ph. D.s. They have extensive research experience, including patents. They are always noted as being supportive, approachable, and encouraging of critical thinking and innovative projects. The academics are generally described as structured, rigorous, and industry-relevant. The curriculum is regularly updated. | The infrastructure and environment are really good. | Campus life is vibrant. Major annual events like the technical festival TATHVA and the cultural festival RAGAM, which is known as one of the biggest in Kerala.

The curriculum is well structured and planned which makes students industry ready. All faculty members and placement is cell unit is very much supportive during placement time. | Placements: College offers excellent placements with good package. Usually computer science students get highest package with approx 30LPA. Avg package offered for all the braches is 8-12LPA. Placements for CSE is excellent with an avg package of 15+ LPA and that of civil branch is avergae. | Value for Money: Course fee was around Rs 52000 per year during 2013. Ofcourse it is value for money and in fact much more than that. | Campus Life: Campus is located in a very good area. NITC arrange one of the best cultural fest among the colleges in South India.

The roles offered in our course are design engineer roles. | Wi-Fi is available in our department. Computer lab is there. A separate room for women, called the women's room, is there in our department. Lift is there in our department. The quality of food in our hostel mess is good. A food menu is prepared by the hostel committee, and that standardized menu is followed by every mess. Wi-Fi is provided in each room. Inter hostel sports tournaments are conducted where the winner gets merchandise and trophies. | The teaching quality is top-notch. Our professors are always available to us. Teaching is done with the PPTs and all the doubts are cleared in the class itself. Course curriculum is relevant. We have courses like interview skills, presentation, and GD, which prepare us for the placement and interview drives. The semester is a bit tough. But the faculty members do provide us with all the sources and materials to prepare for the exam, which helps us score good marks. The pass percentage has been above 95% all the time. | I'm satisfied with college, its facilities, placement history, and hostel facilities. | I chose this course because I did not want to take the circuit branches. The other option was mechanical engineering, but there was a lot of competition there. So I thought of joining chemical engineering since our college has had a good placement percentage when it comes to chemical engineering. Ragam and Tathva are the two main fests in our college. Ragam is the cultural first and Tathva is the technical fest. Apart from this, throughout the year, campus events are conducted by the clubs. Campus is surrounded by many restaurants, turf, pool hotels, etc.

We have Thathva, Ragam and branch fests throughout the year. But the online activities made them not possible. | Semester exams are difficult, and the academic CGPA has recently converted into CGPA*10, and before years, it was CGPA*9.5. The teachers are very good, but online classes are not much interactive. The curriculum is very relevant, and the syllabus is useful for GATE. | Overall, it is a great college for all branches. | Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, extracurricular activities, etc., are very good.

But the teachers here seems pretty old and have way old practises and the students can't question them in any manner. Apart from these the teaching is pretty good, right from basics to everything we need. | Placements: The placements here are pretty good, almost there is a 100% placement in my college whereas the highest salary ranges almost 50 LPA. Top recruitment companies were Goldman Sachs, Oracle, Adobe systems etc.

Hostels are built far away from our campus. Drinking water is available. The food quality is better. Groceries shops are available. It has a modern laboratory with advanced tech for students. | Teachers are very helpful and friendly. They conduct interactive sessions for students. Individual assignments and group work are also conducted which can increase team morale of the group. The course curriculum is always updated according to changes. The new exam methods are approached by teachers rather than the conventional methods so that the students can face any type of situation at any time. | It has a good campus life. | I chose this course because I wanted to become an engineer. The best course of action is to take a master's in MBA as students could have some pre-requisite about management. Our campus life is the best. Studying well or not depends on students and the doubts regarding subjects can be clarified by the respective faculty during particular session. And yes, we will be perfectly ready for any CSE related jobs. The curriculum gets updated with time. | Placements: Placements will be 100% for CSE students. But for a person to sit in placements should have minimum of 7 cgpa, 6.5 rarely, so that he gets placed. The maximum salary offered this year is 40,00,000. The process goes pleasant and easy if we are confident enough to face it. Our college is very supportive for placements. | Value for Money: Money paid by the students depends on their category for academic purpose. 40,000 will be paid every Student who stays in Hostels (mess and room). The roles offered in our course are design engineer roles. | Wi-Fi is available in our department. Computer lab is there. A separate room for women, called the women's room, is there in our department. Lift is there in our department. The quality of food in our hostel mess is good. A food menu is prepared by the hostel committee, and that standardized menu is followed by every mess. Wi-Fi is provided in each room. Inter hostel sports tournaments are conducted where the winner gets merchandise and trophies. | The teaching quality is top-notch. Our professors are always available to us. Teaching is done with the PPTs and all the doubts are cleared in the class itself. Course curriculum is relevant. We have courses like interview skills, presentation, and GD, which prepare us for the placement and interview drives. The semester is a bit tough. But the faculty members do provide us with all the sources and materials to prepare for the exam, which helps us score good marks. The other option was mechanical engineering, but there was a lot of competition there. So I thought of joining chemical engineering since our college has had a good placement percentage when it comes to chemical engineering. Ragam and Tathva are the two main fests in our college. Ragam is the cultural first and Tathva is the technical fest. Apart from this, throughout the year, campus events are conducted by the clubs. Campus is surrounded by many restaurants, turf, pool hotels, etc.

The teachers are very good, but online classes are not much interactive. The library contains all books, and a silent and neat environment is maintained to study in there. Hostels are a good place to stay, but the food served makes some problem like it is made in Kerala style, which is very difficult for everyone to eat. We have sports to participate where we can compete with students of other NITs. | Every teacher who comes to teach us are highly knowledgeable, and they clear our doubts if we ask. Studying depends on the individual. If we are enthusiastic about learning new things, then our faculty is the best to gain knowledge. If you are attending all classes and daily along with your work loads you can score more marks. Time management is the key so learn and prepare yourself before knowing about the difficult level of exams | Placements: The quality of placements is quite average. Average placements placing can be 5-6 lakhs. The dean is not so supportive of the students. There is more importance given to attendence and theory study than practical and training.

Everyone can apply for the scholarship. You need to clear all your subjects to be able to apply for the scholarship. If your CGPA is good you can apply for merit scholarship provided by the college. If you can't afford to pay the college fee you can apply for an educational loan. There is a bank near the campus which makes your loan process easy. You can even pay your mess bills and other fee using the loan. | Academics & Faculty: Generally, the college hours start at 8 AM and end by 6 in the evening. You will have a 2hr lunch break from 12:15 to the 2'o clock and a 15min break from 10:00 to 10:15. Per day you will have 3-4 classes. Some days you might not have any class at all. You will have 2 lab sessions per week. If you opt for a lab as your elective in 3rd or a 4th year then you will have 3lab sessions per week. Maximum of the afternoons you will be free. You will have classes only in the morning hours. Towards the end of the semester, you might have extra classes. NITC always tries to find a better way to teach new batch. Method of teaching is really good and can you meet them in their office for doubts and guidance regarding courses. Professors are available on campus during work hours of the week. They are always available through emails during non-working and working hours. Engineering is not about just gaining a degree or job. It's about learning what life is and what you are. This college makes you successful both career-wise and individually.

The curriculum of each subject is updated according to the current business enviroment... | Placements: The placements are average due to it being a national institute... But most of the well established companies do come for campus hiring and around 70% students are hired in the campus placement. The salary package given is also good. | Value for Money: Thr college fees is less compared to the other mba colleges and we do get the value for the money that has been paid. As we are able to enjoy good facilities and classes are taken by well educated professors. | Campus Life: Campus life was the best. It is situated in very scenic location with the calicut city nearby. All the facilities are available nearby. There is movie theaters areas where you can go for a short trip.

Despite the situation turning us to sit at our homes and study online, faculties have put in their best to make us understand the concepts & give us practical insights. The curriculum is up to date and is inclusive of the recent technological developments. | Placements: The Placement Cell is quite supportive(both School of Management Studies and NIT Calicut). Management Students are interning and getting placed at some of the best companies like Deloitte, TCS, Tech Mahindra, EY and banks like SBI, Federal Bank etc. | Value for Money: Worth your investment. Approximately 2.5 lakh in total(2 years) inclusive of hostel fee. ROI is high. With respect to what you get back in return, you won't regret what you spent. | Campus Life: We have different clubs operating in different fields of Management; includes academic as well as co-curricular. No compromise in teaching as the faculties are recruited by a central board of the government. | Placements: The pandemic had caused a dent but even then the students of MBA were able to get a considerable package, please visit our website to know the exact details as I am not sure which is the highest. Companies like TCS, TechM, EY, SBI, Deloitte, Amazon etc. do visit and offer managerial roles. | Value for Money: The best VFM college for MBA, the ROI is really great, for an investment of 2-3 lakhs for 2 years, you can earn upto 14-15 lakhs of package, depending upon your ability. | Campus Life: Cannot comment much on this as 2020-21 was a pandemic year and most of the studies happened online, however, people who chose to stay in campus for the 2nd semester truly enjoyed being there, the atmosphere is calm and majestic, the location is scenic and lush green. | Others: The faculties are really great, they are friendly and they take no time to understand the type of skill set you possess and where you would be suitable in. Lastly, the tag of studying in an NIT always gives a classic feeling of studying in a premier government institute.
