Placements over here are nice with a maximum placement of around 20 lacs in chemical department and around 75% of the total strength is placed with an average package of around 5-6 lacs. Core companies like BPCL, HPCL, ONGC, RELIANCE took placement. Overall fine placement. Read more

Overall fine placement. | College infrastructure is very cool with green campus all new hostels with all required facilities, virtual classrooms, new lecture halls,24 hrs library facility, all sports facilities, health centre. All lab facilities are available in college itself. Hostels are nicely furnished with 24 hrs security and food facilities are also very nice. Co-operative store is there in college itself where all essential things are available. Rental cycle system for inside and outside ride off the college. College is in the centre of the city so all other required facilities are available at the GATE only. | More than 75% faculty members over here are Ph.D. holders and having 12-15 years of teaching experience. All faculty members are supportive in all fields and in any difficult situations. Course here is commenced in two terms odd and even. And in between the course a number of technical as well as cultural events are conducted. As institute is autonomous so papers are based on assigned theory of the particular course. | I'm obliged to be a part of VNIT, I'm truly satisfied with the faculty, placement, food ,infrastruct | Campus is surrounded by lake with a park. Technical events like axis and cultural events like aarohi and departmental programme like DG, institute gathering IG, intramurals of sports for first years. And all major fests are also celebrated cordially together.

I am satisfied with the working environment on the campus.
The placements were excellent. Almost 100% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered in 2018 was 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The average salary package offered was 14.8 LPA. Companies like Samsung offered jobs to students. All students got internships, and good placements were provided to them. Read more

All students got internships, and good placements were provided to them. | The laboratories were excellent, well air-conditioned, air ventilation was good, and they were hygienic as well. Wi-Fi installation was there in all classes, and the college library was huge. There were more than 60,000 estimated books, new editions, and revised editions were always kept in the library. | Teachers were cooperative with solving queries and doubts. Teachers were highly qualified and have deep knowledge about the subject. The course curriculum was relevant, and the exams conducted by the university were a bit difficult but can be cracked with dedicated efforts. | I am satisfied with the working environment on the campus. | I opted for this course, because of my interest in it. There were many events like Hackathon conducted on the campus which was off-course an inter-school fest. Scholarships prizes were distributed to the students, and extracurricular activities were also conducted across the year to bust the stress.

I did my graduation in ECE and my college had very experienced faculty members with very good knowledge on the subjects. We had a good infrastructure to do practicals and lab work which helps us understand the technology and concepts practically. Apart from academics, my college is a beautiful 243-acre lush green campus and it is a great place to graduate from, be it in terms of its infrastructure, facilities or student life with nearly 750 students graduating every year. The placements were good, but they are actually better now. We have so many events happening throughout the year which was really fun during my college days. We also have many clubs ranging from social and music club. Overall, it is a great place to study for engineering.

They are quite highly qualified academicians with great research record. Course curriculum is like the rest of the country, old and outdated. Much attention is to be given to modify the syllabus to make the students industry ready instead of making them ready only to pass semesters. | Placements: Approximately 70-75% gets placed in the final year. Average package is approximately 7lpa and maximum package is 21lpa and minimum is 4lpa. Goldman Sachs, Reliance, Bajaj, Schindler are top recruiters. Mostly all the students from Computer Science course got the internship. | Value for Money: Vnit is very expensive. The course fee is approximately Rs.1,30,000 per year. SC ST is given complete fee waiver and have scholarship and stipend Loans are needed, and they are generally easily availed from the Canara Bank Branch in the Campus. | Campus Life: Campus Life of Vnit is very great as it contains many student canteen as well as staff canteen. Vnit has focused on greenary of the campus, so it is completely covered with trees, which make campus life beautiful, entertaining.

Very big tournaments were organized every year, and coaches were provided for games. There was a hotel office. The hotel was awesome in every way, very clean and lush with lots of trees. The mess food was pretty good. There were large rooms for students. There was a small hotel fee of 750/year. | Teachers had extensive education, with the majority holding PhDs in their respective specialties. Their teaching abilities were exceptional. Honestly, the curriculum had no bearing on technical objectives. The semester questions were well-organized and extremely hard. | This was the best college for the M.Sc. in Chemistry course.

The food served in the mess is average, but we can change the mess menu every month. Medical and sports facilities are the best in our college. Classrooms are very good and well-equipped with all modern facilities. In the first year, there is a restriction for students as their time is up to 8 pm, so hostel students cannot explore activities happening in college. | Some first-year professors are not good. The passing percentage is 35%. The course is relevant. In the first year, you have to read all subjects irrespective of your course. Semester exams are moderate. Students have to attend classes regularly because almost 75% of attendance is mandatory in our college. The playground available on the campus is pretty big. | Many professors have an experience of more than 25 years. Student mentorship programme helps in forging a better bond between student and the professor. There are a lot of qualified teachers with the zeal to teach not just the subject but also about the engineering course. As per my course the curriculum is updated as per the recent progress in the surrounding world. you need to cover some syllabus which the professor may skip during the classroom teachings. | Placements: The quantity of placement is very high but the average package provided to a student is lower in comparison to students expectation. the placements are provided on campus as well as offcampus too. The average package of the college is 6.5 to 7 lakh per annum. the percent of computer science and core branches placement is greater. And the course being taught is way relevant and most of the students are easily able to crack the core companies placement. The semester exam is not very much hard but it will help you in to be prepared for the GATE. | College with the best faculty members. | I got this course and I really wasn't expecting that I'll be getting it. The best part about this course was it is the best course if you want to go for research and development. Events are regularly organised. Students are also nominated for various scholarship opportunities.

There is a classroom complex with 40 rooms, each having AC facilities. The fest I like is Keyan, which is held in every classroom, and the ventilation system in classes. There are more than 5,000 students in my college. | The first-year exams are so hard. Teachers are helpful, and there is no chance of cheating during examinations. Teachers are very mindful and educated. Almost all teachers have a Ph.D. degree. The most difficult subjects I face are Chemistry and Physics because they are absolute in marking. | My college makes my life. | I chose this course because I am passionate about building, and my goal is to become a builder. There are scholarships available for poor and lower income family. Being a central government college, the fee is little high according to me but still, it is ok. From my batch there were 90% of students get placed in companies. | Hostel fee for one semester was 37000 including mess feels. For first year they provide double seater room from final year we get single room. Room size is large it can easily accommodate 3 students easily. In a room we had two light and two fans, clothes hangers and every basic need we wanted. Wi-Fi facilities were also available in hostel as well as in classrooms. Libraries were also available. | Faculty members of vnit were so adorable they helped me alot. Professor are well educated and most of them are Ph.D. holders from top recognised institutes of india. Their teaching method is also good execet few of professor, their teaching method is not up to the mark. The institute library is open 24/7 and is accompanied by wifi and a computer centre. Hostels are large and comfortable, however are very old and need renovations. | Academics: I am studying mechanical engineering in VNIT. The professors are learned people who provide precise guidance on different subjects. Lectures and practicals are conducted on a regular basis. Curriculum includes subjects that form the basis of mechanical engineering. However the curriculum needs to be updated. Including computer science and machine learning in syllabus would be beneficial for students. | Placements: Placements in VNIT are descent. However when it comes to core branches like mechanical, electrical and civil placements aren't so satisfactory. The main reason for this is not including modern technologies in the curriculum. But on the other hand, Computer science and electronics engineering get good placement offers that can be opted for. | Value for Money: I have to pay Rs. 66000 as tuition fees and Rs. 42000 as hostel fees per semester. Fee waivers and scholarships are also available for the economically backward. Talking about tuition fees, I feel that it is just and the experience you get is worth the money you spend. Hostel fees include hostel and mess charges. Mess is pretty good but I think hostel charges are a bit expensive. | Campus Life: VNIT boasts a huge 225 acre lush green campus. Some professors are very good at explaining and clearing doubts of the students. the curriculum is comparatively easy and are able to study without much load. There are many clubs here which you can join according to your interest, talent and hobby. these clubs are highly active enough to boost your interested talents. | Placements: Placements for the mechanical engineeering is good enough, that there are lot of companies coming for placing the students. the average package obtained is 6.5 to 7 lakhs per annum. The placement is high for the computer science and core branches with almost 80 above percentage. | Value for Money: The tuition fee is about 1.4 lakhs per annum and the hostel fees is 80,000 per annum which is almost similar to most nits. the hostel are new with good facilities for the students . Average package is around 6lpa and highest salary goes around 25-30 lpa most of the year. Placements of CSE and MECH are best. ECE students get placed mostlyin IT companies. We have smart classrooms, high-tech laboratories, one big library, top-class sports facilities, and newly built hostels for boys and girls both with free WiFi. The campus is really beautiful with all the amenities. | Academics: The curriculum for the MTech Communication is good. The curriculum has less scope for diverse electives as it is a Master's course but the faculties are really good with exceptional knowledge and skills. All are Ph.D. holders from IITs, IISc, NITs, and foreign Universities. Faculties try to give their best and they will make sure to extract the best out of you also. Coding and Softwares are promoted by the faculties and the assignments will also reflect that. Overall the academics are good. | Placements: Placements are good and VNIT Nagpur by far has performed amazingly well than my expectations. It has a really good placement and internship trend. Various core companies come for internships and placements to our college. As of now, I am writing this post in May 2021, and till now around 7-8 core electronics companies have come to our campus for 11 months internship. Companies like Marvell, Qualcomm, Intel, NXP, Philips, Mediatek, Xilinx, AMD, Nvidia came to our campus. | Value for Money: It is a value-for-money course. The semester fee is around 40k per semester and hostel and mess fees are excluded. | Campus Life: The campus is really good with all the amenities. I am the unlucky one as I was not able to visit the campus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My whole M.Tech will be in Online Mode. Hope to see the campus when I go to take my M.Tech degree. | Others: Overall it is a really good college and a good course to go with. And a value for money course with a high Return on Investment.

Reliance Industries Limited, VA Wabag tech, Pidilite industries limited, Lupin pharmaceutical, UHDE (ThyssenKrupp) recruit the engineers in the shift field engineer and the design engineer position. There is a training and placement cell in the college. For the top two students from every department in the third year, there is an opportunity for the internship in Germany through DAAD. | The quality of labs at the chemical engineering department is good. The same can be said of the fluid mechanics and the structural labs. The canteen serves more as a meeting point for the students than to have food. The quality and the variety of dishes served are decent, and it can be better. There is a dedicated physician at the medical centre for 24*7. If something serious comes up related to the health, then the insurance coverage of the student helps a lot. The hostel rooms are provided such that during the first year, we get four students per room. It eases into three students in the 2nd year. You get to live single in the third and fourth years. If time permits, then the faculty members do invite other veteran faculty members from the IITs for 2 or 3 days to teach a subject. One of the most sought-after subjects now is entrepreneurship development, which is looked after by the alumnus of the college. The student to faculty ratio is 27:1 including all the four-year students of the department. Co-operative store is there in college itself where all essential things are available. Rental cycle system for inside and outside ride off the college. College is in the centre of the city so all other required facilities are available at the GATE only. | More than 75% faculty members over here are Ph.D. holders and having 12-15 years of teaching experience. All faculty members are supportive in all fields and in any difficult situations. Course here is commenced in two terms odd and even. And in between the course a number of technical as well as cultural events are conducted. Wi-Fi installation was there in all classes, and the college library was huge. There were more than 60,000 estimated books, new editions, and revised editions were always kept in the library. | Teachers were cooperative with solving queries and doubts. Teachers were highly qualified and have deep knowledge about the subject. The course curriculum was relevant, and the exams conducted by the university were a bit difficult but can be cracked with dedicated efforts. | I am satisfied with the working environment on the campus. | I opted for this course, because of my interest in it. There were many events like Hackathon conducted on the campus which was off-course an inter-school fest. Scholarships prizes were distributed to the students, and extracurricular activities were also conducted across the year to bust the stress.

We had a good infrastructure to do practicals and lab work which helps us understand the technology and concepts practically. Apart from academics, my college is a beautiful 243-acre lush green campus and it is a great place to graduate from, be it in terms of its infrastructure, facilities or student life with nearly 750 students graduating every year. The placements were good, but they are actually better now. We have so many events happening throughout the year which was really fun during my college days. We also have many clubs ranging from social and music club. Overall, it is a great place to study for engineering.

Teachers are very mindful and educated. Almost all teachers have a Ph.D. degree. From my batch there were 90% of students get placed in companies. | Hostel fee for one semester was 37000 including mess feels. For first year they provide double seater room from final year we get single room. Room size is large it can easily accommodate 3 students easily. In a room we had two light and two fans, clothes hangers and every basic need we wanted. Wi-Fi facilities were also available in hostel as well as in classrooms. Libraries were also available. | Faculty members of vnit were so adorable they helped me alot. Professor are well educated and most of them are Ph.D. holders from top recognised institutes of india. Their teaching method is also good execet few of professor, their teaching method is not up to the mark. We had two examination in one sem with some projects in our M.Teach batch. | VNIT is the best college of Nagpur. | I choose this course because I had interest in architecture.

Hostels are large and comfortable, however are very old and need renovations. | Academics: I am studying mechanical engineering in VNIT. The professors are learned people who provide precise guidance on different subjects. Lectures and practicals are conducted on a regular basis. Curriculum includes subjects that form the basis of mechanical engineering. However the curriculum needs to be updated. Including computer science and machine learning in syllabus would be beneficial for students. | Placements: Placements in VNIT are descent. However when it comes to core branches like mechanical, electrical and civil placements aren't so satisfactory. The main reason for this is not including modern technologies in the curriculum. But on the other hand, Computer science and electronics engineering get good placement offers that can be opted for. | Value for Money: I have to pay Rs. 66000 as tuition fees and Rs. 42000 as hostel fees per semester. Fee waivers and scholarships are also available for the economically backward. Talking about tuition fees, I feel that it is just and the experience you get is worth the money you spend. The professors are highly experienced and graduated. Some professors are very good at explaining and clearing doubts of the students. the curriculum is comparatively easy and are able to study without much load. There are many clubs here which you can join according to your interest, talent and hobby. these clubs are highly active enough to boost your interested talents. | Placements: Placements for the mechanical engineeering is good enough, that there are lot of companies coming for placing the students. the average package obtained is 6.5 to 7 lakhs per annum. The placement is high for the computer science and core branches with almost 80 above percentage. | Value for Money: The tuition fee is about 1.4 lakhs per annum and the hostel fees is 80,000 per annum which is almost similar to most nits. the hostel are new with good facilities for the students . Hostels are cleaned regularly to keep the health and hygiene of the inmates. The hostel also provides facility such as full wifi access to students. There are also sports equipments such as table tennis tables, badminton courts, carrom boards, for the students improving their skills. | Campus Life: I am having a very good experience here having fun with the friends both in hostel as well as campus. I feel like so free that i am expecting from a college life. Seniors are very chill and I dont felt anything such as ragging in this campus. the campus is completely ragging free. The town nearby increases our social life interacting with the outside people and offcampus. | Others: he only difficulty we faced is in first year that our hostel intime was till 9.30 pm. We need to enter the hostel premises before the intime. The hostel is not such boring but still it felt something awkward when all the seniors where allowed to wander all around the campus.

We have smart classrooms, high-tech laboratories, one big library, top-class sports facilities, and newly built hostels for boys and girls both with free WiFi. The campus is really beautiful with all the amenities. | Academics: The curriculum for the MTech Communication is good. The curriculum has less scope for diverse electives as it is a Master's course but the faculties are really good with exceptional knowledge and skills. All are Ph.D. holders from IITs, IISc, NITs, and foreign Universities. Faculties try to give their best and they will make sure to extract the best out of you also. Coding and Softwares are promoted by the faculties and the assignments will also reflect that. Overall the academics are good. | Placements: Placements are good and VNIT Nagpur by far has performed amazingly well than my expectations. It has a really good placement and internship trend. Various core companies come for internships and placements to our college. As of now, I am writing this post in May 2021, and till now around 7-8 core electronics companies have come to our campus for 11 months internship. Companies like Marvell, Qualcomm, Intel, NXP, Philips, Mediatek, Xilinx, AMD, Nvidia came to our campus. | Value for Money: It is a value-for-money course. The semester fee is around 40k per semester and hostel and mess fees are excluded. | Campus Life: The campus is really good with all the amenities. I am the unlucky one as I was not able to visit the campus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My whole M.Tech will be in Online Mode. Hope to see the campus when I go to take my M.Tech degree. | Others: Overall it is a really good college and a good course to go with. And a value for money course with a high Return on Investment.

Reliance Industries Limited, VA Wabag tech, Pidilite industries limited, Lupin pharmaceutical, UHDE (ThyssenKrupp) recruit the engineers in the shift field engineer and the design engineer position. There is a training and placement cell in the college. For the top two students from every department in the third year, there is an opportunity for the internship in Germany through DAAD. | The quality of labs at the chemical engineering department is good. The same can be said of the fluid mechanics and the structural labs. The canteen serves more as a meeting point for the students than to have food. The quality and the variety of dishes served are decent, and it can be better. There is a dedicated physician at the medical centre for 24*7. If something serious comes up related to the health, then the insurance coverage of the student helps a lot. The hostel rooms are provided such that during the first year, we get four students per room. It eases into three students in the 2nd year. You get to live single in the third and fourth years. The speed of the internet in the hostel is fast, and so is the sharing content available on the local LAN. | The faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. But, except for 2 or 3 professors in my department, rest all are helpful and make you understand the concepts. The core chemical engineering subjects are beautifully taught. If time permits, then the faculty members do invite other veteran faculty members from the IITs for 2 or 3 days to teach a subject. One of the most sought-after subjects now is entrepreneurship development, which is looked after by the alumnus of the college. The student to faculty ratio is 27:1 including all the four-year students of the department. Since, I am pursuing the Core Branch So we just can't rely on Placements but also make sure to go for Engg. services Exams like Gate,ESE | Placements: The placements are Excellent. About 85-90% of the students were placed in the academic session of 2022-23.The highest CTC offered was 64 LPA to the Computer Science Department student. The Average salary fluctuates in between 9-10 LPA while the Median packages touches about 8.5 LPA. Registration for the hostel can be done online on the VNIT website. The monthly rent is Rs.8000 (inclusive of Hostel and Mess). | I did my M.Tech in CadCam. There were 22 students in my class and we had 15 teachers for my M.Tech specialization in VNIT. So the faculty:student ratio was very good. All the professors held PhDs from reputed and old IITs and had good industry experience too. Each department has its building and technical laboratories. The infrastructure is awesome with library and computer centre facility. A person can easily expect a salary of 7-10 lakhs per annum with some really good brands coming in the institute. if one takes academics seriously then one can even get more salary than this. | Value for Money: the fees during my tenure was around 1.2 lakhs per year which makes the total fees of around 5-6 lakhs rupees per year and a good return on investment can be made if we see the average placement of the institute | Campus Life: as the institute campus is huge in size of over 200 acres the campus life is amazing. you can enjoying your evenings in the campus also there are many good places for hanging out in the vicinity of the campus
