CA Intermediate results likely by the evening of 22 October, ICAI says. January 2027 exam forms open on 3 November

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) says the results of the CA Intermediate examination held in September 2026 are likely to be declared by the evening of Thursday, 22 October 2026. Its examination department’s announcement is dated 14 October 2026. The results will be on caresults.icai.org, and you will need both your registration number and your roll number to see yours. The announcement covers the Intermediate course only.

The next attempt: January 2027

ICAI’s notice of 23 September 2026 fixes the next Foundation and Intermediate exams:

Intermediate Group II	8, 10 and 12 January 2027	2 pm to 5 pm
Foundation	3, 5, 7 and 9 January 2027	2 pm to 5 pm; Papers 3 and 4 from 2 pm to 4 pm

Every paper except Foundation Papers 3 and 4 gets 15 minutes of reading time from 1:45 pm. ICAI says the dates will not change even if a day is declared a public holiday. You can answer in English or Hindi.

Exam forms and fees

• Forms open on the Self Service Portal, eservices.icai.org, on 3 November 2026.
• Last date without a late fee: 16 November 2026.
• With a ₹600 late fee: until 19 November 2026.
• Changing your exam city or correcting a filled form: 20 to 22 November 2026.
• Fee at centres in India: ₹1,500 for one Intermediate group, ₹2,700 for both, and ₹1,500 for Foundation.

The exams will be held in cities across India, including 23 in Gujarat from Ahmedabad and Anand to Valsad and Vapi, and at three overseas centres: Bahrain, Dubai and Kathmandu.

Mock papers start on 19 November

ICAI’s Board of Studies announced on 14 October that it will run two series of mock test papers for Intermediate students taking the January 2027 exams. Series I runs from 19 to 30 November and Series II from 3 to 14 December, 10 am to 1 pm, one paper a day. Papers are on the BoS Knowledge Portal and the ICAI BoS app; if you want to write them in a hall, contact your nearest ICAI branch.

What to do now

1. Keep your registration number and roll number ready for the evening of 22 October.
2. If you have a group to clear, put 3 to 16 November in your calendar for the exam form and avoid the ₹600 late fee.
3. Plan your revision around the two mock series; they cover all six Intermediate papers.
