3,631 Laboratory Assistant forms cancelled

The Laboratory Assistant recruitment was first advertised for 145 posts (105 in medical education and 40 in medical services), and 6 more were added for the ESI scheme. When it reopened applications in December 2025 only for candidates with a disability affecting both arms, many people without that disability applied anyway. In a notice dated 8 October, the board cancelled 3,631 such forms. If your name is on that list, you will not get a call letter.

GSSSB’s full plan for the quarter is in our story on the October to December calendar. Two of its recruitments, 1,663 Work Assistant posts and 16 Operation Theatre Assistant posts, are open until 29 October.
